Cutting it close, could get a thinner pixel fold . My pixel 7 Pro with case is the right size with the nubs which hold it in place, these nubs are pretty close as is as it needs to hold the phone in place and not have it rattle. Can't recall if the round nubs can be unscrewed to make them taller

$7.30 for me. Gone through a couple mounts similar to this. Way better than a magnet, but the design I've used only seem to last a year or so. Hopefully this one lasts a longer.
Which part/s fail that you have to go through so many?
This is the specific design I've gone through a couple of. Something gets bent and causes the arms to not retract back into place when your phone isn't in the cradle. Still very much usable, but definitely not functioning as intended.
It showed $8ish including Shipping once, closed the app - showed $10, again closed the app - then finally showed $7.66 !!

while I like the gravity-grip arms with quick-release simply by lifting up, my experience of vent clips is anything where the phone is a distance from the vent, like these pix, will simply fall out of the vent
unless these are some super-strong mystery grippers that would be a problem - the weight of a phone would simply lever the clips out and make the whole thing fall out and off - you don't want that in heavy traffic at speed
the one that worked for me, the vent clip was immediately behind the phone holder, with no spacer, so didn't fall out
