Nice, but waiting for P40W to come down in price, drastically.

    • how much is drastically?

      • I think 'several hundred dollars' would be a great starting point. You can get a 49" Dell Ultrasharp 2019 build for more than $700 less, or the updated version for $400 less.

  • FYI I just bought a Lenovo P40w-20 for $1,716.99
I liked it was 5K at 75 Hz and had a really low pixel pitch, a ton of connections and the ability to daisy-chain to another 5K monitor in future.
the KVM feature was already really good to have as I have two image sources (a laptop to connect via USB-C and a workstation via DisplayPort).

I decided against the 49" ones because they have a higher pixel pitch and were generally 60 Hz.

Did not want a VA panel, and would only choose an IPS panel. My use-case is productivity, not gaming.
300 brightness is OK, as I have curtains to control the amount of natural light.

  • Lenovo EOFY sale now has the P40w-20 at $2,085 (rrp is $2,789)

    • RRP is just absurd. The same T34w-20 I posted here is now ‘on sale’ for $822. The P34w would be better value at $967, IMHO. If someone wants the P40w then I’d suggest waiting till it’s truly on sale, like the $1716 you paid.

      • Yeh I'd agree. I think wait a bit longer even the 6K ones will come down in price
