  I've got one of these. Picked it up for a few $'s years ago at a garage sale. Keeps water hot for 24 hours. Bloody amazing. Can't bring myself to upgrade.

  I have some "Thermocafe by Thermos" mugs from previous deal. I think there must be some reason these products labelled as "ThermoCafe by Thermos" instead of original "Thermos" brand.
  Buy "Thermos" products if you like the brand and quality product.

  Be aware that it's actually made in China.
  Amazon has wrongly labelled it as made in Aust.

  The plastic parts feel a little cheap. I don't know if I got a dud but my experience with this model is it is more likely to spray when dispensing compared to other pots I've used. I only use it for hot liquids, so not particularly nice.

  Too many bits and pieces that could break or fail.

  I'd just stick to getting a plain and simple thermos you jsut open and pour out

  Not to mention cleaning that small metal like straw thing would be a bitch.

  I bought the 2L one half year ago, seem it didn't keep water that hot anymore.
