There are some problems with the tent discussed in the video, but it's a good price for such a light and quality tent.

A semi-freestanding tent has one or more poles to hold up the tent body, but parts of it, most often the corners of the floor have to be staked out using tent stakes to stretch the floor out fully

Gee under 1kg. And Nemo make great stuff, I have a hiking sleeping mat of theirs and it’s super comfortable but light too.
Is this a good way to squeeze some extra tenants into a lounge room? At $225/week this should pay for itself even before the credit card statement comes in.

Given this, why would anyone pay $440 for it? Surely for that sort of money you can buy a light 1P that does not have 'problems'?
Surprisingly no, nothing else freestanding/semi-freestanding under 1kg without problems that I know for this price.
