$5 Bonus Cashback on $50 Spend at Amazon on All Categories @ Cashrewards (Activation Required)

6030

Hi everyone. A nice Cashrewards birthday bonus when you activate then spend $50 or more in one transaction at Amazon. All tiers have a cashback component today so all categories are eligible (see terms below). Make sure you clear your Amazon cart before clicking/tapping 'Shop Now' from Cashrewards. Thanks for your support as always. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Please read the following terms & tips carefully:

  1. To be eligible for the AUD $5 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on this page, then shop as normal via Amazon Australia at Cashrewards.
  2. After activation, transaction must be made between 10am AEST 10 May 2023 and 11:59pm AEST 10 May 2023.
  3. Bonus is eligible on qualifying purchases of AUD $50 in a single transaction. Qualifying purchase price is calculated inclusive of GST, after any discounts, but excludes any shipping costs. Sales may report to Cashrewards ex-GST so the purchase amount shown in your account may be less than $50 - you will still be eligible for the bonus if the actual qualifying purchase price is $50 or more.
  4. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as pending upon activation of this offer. Under some conditions there may be a delay of up to 60 minutes for the bonus to show in your account after activation.
  5. Bonus will be approved within 7 days of any associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  6. Bonus is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.
  7. Transaction is valid if made online via desktop browser, Cashrewards mobile app, Cashrewards Notifier, or mobile browser.
  8. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  9. Bonus is paid on eligible purchases, excluding delivery, taxes & GST.
  10. Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Bonus is eligible for:

11. Items added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
12. Purchases of products paid with gift cards.
13. The first (new) Subscribe & Save order. Subsequent orders are ineligible.
14. Pre-orders, but only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.

Bonus is ineligible on the following:

15. Purchase of vouchers, gift cards, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals.
16. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
17. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
18. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
19. Items added to cart prior to clicking from Cashrewards.
20. Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.
21. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
22. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
23. Fraudulent transactions.

Handy tips:

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant). Do not activate the bonus unless you intend using it - it will decline after 14 days unless a qualifying purchase is made. For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc). Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great tracking results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Is bonus eligible if paid by Amazon gift card?

    • -1

Did you even read the post?

      Bonus is eligible for:
      12. Purchases of products paid with gift cards.

      • +24

I did but saw this -

Bonus is ineligible on the following 17. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.

And was confused. So I did the unthinkable and asked for clarification.

        • okay fair point, to make it clearer maybe it should say promotion credit

        • +21

Amazon gift cards and Amazon credits are two separate things.

          • +3

@WookieMonster: Further to this discussion, how about this type of Amazon coupon.

            Eligible or ineligible?

            • +1

              @Master Bates:

              1. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
            • @Master Bates: My hunch is that it should be eligible, as long as you were not manually entering anything in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field (or doing anything else that is highlighted as a no-no in dot points 15-23 in the description above).

              • @WookieMonster: It involves manually ticking a checkbox, but not manually putting in a Promotional Code in the field.

@tightarse Can you please weigh in on this discussion?

                • @Master Bates: @tightarse I would also like clarification on whether store Coupons are eligible. They appear at check out as Promotional Credit but aren't manually entered as per T&Cs

                  • @silverwings: TA, can you please clarify. Very often I actually manually remove the Store Promotion Code automatically added during checkout (if amount is small) in order to keep the cashback alive!

            • @Master Bates: Also curious about this

          • @WookieMonster: This is why I failed law 101

        • Credit and gift card not the same.

    • Bonus is eligible for:

      1. Purchases of products paid with gift cards.

C'mon… you can even ctrl+f gift

      • Or CMD+F if you are using Mac :p

Bonus is eligible on qualifying purchases of AUD $50 in a single transaction.

This is a deal-breaker unless you had something expensive in your mind that you needed already.

    • Sorry, can someone who negged bother to explain how my statement is wrong? I am keen to spend $50 in one transaction if I find something relevant. Positively looking for the tips.

      • +1

One transaction not one item… (I didn't neg you)

        • I understand but a lot of products I buy regularly are S&S ones and they need to be purchased with single transactions only, unfortunately.

          • +3

@virhlpool: You can buy multiple items as S&S in one transaction. Just add the items normally (not as S&S) and then at the checkout, tick 10% off S&S for each item.

  • Thank you TA :)

  • Are pre-orders eligible?

    • +1

According to TA’s description, it depends.

      Bonus is eligible for:

      14. Pre-orders, but only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.

      • +1

Thanks WookieMonster. Should have read the whole description 😅

  • +1

This will stack with 20% cashback promo today ?

    • My thought also!! Keen to know

edit: Looks like we can, banner on CR website.

    • It should, because:

      • TA mentioned in their description:

      6. Bonus is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction.

      • TA has not mentioned anything about being unable to stack this offer with the boosted advertised store cashback rate later day.
  • +1

    Who is buying Lego?

  • Very good deal TA, but sadly dont have much to buy from amazon

    • +2

May I suggest you could buy a watch.

  • I got $10 cashback offer a few weeks ago and I bought a SSD with Amazon gift card, not tracked.

    • Using amazon (promotional) credit is not eligible for cashback
To be tracked, you have to "uncheck amazon credit" in the checkout page

    • +1

It did not track as Personal Computing category has been 0% (ineligible) since Jan 2023. It's 0.8% today only for this promo. Thanks.

  • -2

Thanks, TA, better than the budget for struggling families :)

  • +3
    • This one is close to the value

  • +4

    Thanks pre ordered Zelda

  • +3

Bonus is ineligible on the following:
    20. Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.

Can you get around this by searching for the item, rather then opening it via your Wish List? and if not, can you remove it from your wish list and buy it via normal search?

    • +1

yeh i've always wondered why this has been an exclusion… i think it's some kind of tracking limitation. my other theory is that sometimes my wishlist has a lower price than the item if searched in incognito (i'm sure this was the case that one time but have no way to prove it).

to get the cashback, i've previously i've just searched for the item manually in the search bar and make sure it's the same item/price. It's worked.

  • Is cashback eligible for items sold and ship from Amazon US?

    • +2

Yes, 100%. Purchases from Amazon US/UK are eligible for cashback provided the transaction is made via Amazon AU.

  • Hi @tightarse Amazon divided my >$50 transaction into 2 order numbers (maybe because one product is subscribe & save while the other is not). Now each order number is below $50. Will this still be eligible as a transaction of above $50?

    • +1

Yes Amazon splits single orders to item level. Provided they total $50 or more (inc GST), then no issues at all. However you would not have received tracking for any of today's purchases until at least tomorrow. I can only assume what you're seeing is a previous purchase. Thanks.

      • Many thanks TA. Correct, I am not referring to tracking from Cashrewards, I'm referring to the order details / confirmation email from Amazon.

        • You'll be fine then. Amazon has always reported at item level. Any issues, you know where to find me :)

  • I thought S&S doesn't track

  • Thanks, managed to cancel an Amazon device order before it shipped and reordered after activating this offer with same day delivery :)

  • How is the "$30 Cap" worked out for the other deal?

If I cancel my order from earlier today and reorder to get this $5 bonus, will I still get the 10% upsized cashback for toys on the new order or is that offer already linked to the cancelled order?

  • What category is Amazon Fashion? I went to desktop and searched for the item and when clicking it shows Amazon Fashion in top left of screen. Fwiw I am looking at a baseball cap.

    • Apparel?

      • Ah, was hoping for shoes, handbag and accessories

  • +1

    activate now, think later

  • Will this stack with $15 targetted bonus

    • +1

No. Each activated bonus requires its own separate purchase. This is covered in the terms of your $15 offer:

Cannot be used in conjunction with any other activation bonuses that may be current at this time.

      • @tightarse sorry just trying to ping you to the other questions because Ozbargain doesn't natively have that feature: are shops coupon eg : tick for $3 off, before adding to checkout ok for tracking?

  • Clarks suede desert boots for $44.30 delivered after $5 bonus and 20% cashback. Now THAT is the business

  • +5

Exclusions in 18 & 19 are the sleepers

    1. Items added to cart prior to clicking from Cashrewards.
    2. Items purchased from your Amazon wish list or 'saved for later' list.
    • What do you mean by sleepers? They never get enforced?

Curious what's wrong with items purchased from wishlist or save for later list that it gets excluded?

      • I’ve missed out on $20 cashback because I added items to my cart from my saved items. You don’t get catch back for those.

        • Man that really sucks. What’s wrong with those actions that they don’t track them?

          • @Eugklng: I think these cashback sites pitch to retailers with "we'll get you customers you wouldn't have otherwise got". So some retailers would make their offerings in that spirit and exclude cashback for pre-saved or pre-selected items.

  • +3

Today I have also played the Cash Rewards roulette table.

Pre-ordered Zelda today with the 0.8%, then saw this bonus.

Activated the bonus, cancelled my previous order, reorder and checkout.

Let's see his much cash reward I actually receive for jumping through the hoops. I've set the expectation it won't be tracked or paid, any cash reward will be a bonus.

    • Same here pre-ordered zelda through mobile app, waiting for tracking now.

      • Edit: I got the tracking!

  • @TA, what about seller specific promotion? Tick coupon at listing and coupon is applied automatically at check out?

  • -1

    any bargains?

  • So I did all this via mobile, was that a mistake? Activated via chrome, the followed the link and it opened the Amazon app and then searched for item and purchased in one go. Should that all have tracked ok?

  • Why amazon cashback never works for items already in the cart? Such an inconvenience for $5 😅

    • This to make sure best result I suppose. I never empty my cart but buy as usual and got tracked.

      • Things in your cart can't be tracked via clicks. A click needs to be recorded in order for the item to be attributed to the cashback provider.

        • But it is never an issue with other shops like chemist warehouse, ebay, aliexpress etc?

  • +1

Not sure if anyone’s keen on this Danish interlocking plastic bits but it’ll be extra ~18% cashback plus more if you paid with discounted amazon GC, netting at least almost 50% off RRP and more.

    • +3

i had a very… different expectation of "Danish interlocking bits"

    • 67% off I might buy it hehe .

  • -1

Some items in my order will be shipped in 2-4 weeks, will this be a problem?

  • +1

If I clicked Buy Now instead of adding to cart first, will I still be eligible for the cashback?

  • +4

Just wanting to confirm, are shops coupon eg : tick for $3 off, before adding to checkout ok for tracking?

  • Is product sold by Amazon Germany on amazon.com.au eligible?

    • Pretty sure all Au site is eligible

      • Thanks

  • +1

Thanks TA, and happy birthday Cashrewards.

  • Cheers op, stocked up on nappys

  • Anyone tried to stack CR and SB

    • Doesn't work. How does that work mate.

      • Not too sure. I remember people talked about this before
