This is my first post, Delonghi coffee machine full auto on amazon italy (use google chrome to translate), seems a good deal for a full auto. The australian model is ECAM22110SB and the best price on shopbot is $770.

This is a copy of my amazon order.

LoL, "MAGNIFICENT S ECAM" - I thought it said "MAGNIFICENT SCAM".

  • Awesome, Was going to buy the kogan one this week, good timing op, thanks

Edit : Just purchased one :), have to make it to the check out before the discounted price comes up…Bargain!

  • You sure it is fully auto?
Looks like a manual steaming wand. Fully auto machines have a milk tank.

    • Some fully auto machines have both.

  • Does anyone know which of the two machines would be better between this one and this saeco one? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Saeco-Odea-Go-V2-Super-Automatic-…

similar price and savings. Not sure what is better :O

    • I've got a Saeco Odea Giro at home for about a year now. It's pretty good compared to a Krupps I had before (the pump didn't work and was too noisy). I guess with all coffee machines the steam pump isn't always as strong as the industrial ones they have in coffee shops (and also the air/steam ratio is not ideal and you can never get the same froth consistency like the cafes). Other than that it does what it supposed to do and I wake up to it every day. Pretty quick to brew a cuppa too.

Mine can choose the amount of coffee beans dispensed (your ebay link can't) —> http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=19048… I paid 392.45 euros shipped.

Looking back I'd get a manual coffee machine and hack the portafilter. One of my mate's modified his (google "naked portafilter") — the crema is so thick it's really good (also tastes much stronger too). Having said that there's a few extra steps to brew a cup of coffee, not so keen on that especially when you're half awake in the mornings…

  • This is not fully auto…
anyway how would you get a warranty on such an item?

  • Does this have a digital display? If so, will there be an option for English?

    • Yes, it does have english on the digital display. Can also adjust the temp and strength too.

  • I can't vouch for this particular model, but I've had my De Longhi Magnifica coffee machine for over 10 years now and it's still running beautifully. It needs descaling every now and then (it alerts you to the need to descale), but it makes about 3-4 coffees a day and has never missed a beat.

I'd consider replacing it with this model, if only for the extra features.

  • I bought one too….. been hanging out for one with a 'manual' frother for a while now

    • Me too, I've got the latisima pod machine, sick of buying pods

      • Wow, I just tracked my order and it is heading to my place after a trip around the world! The ETA at my place in the 23rd

  • Mine was posted on Friday, arrived yesterday (Monday) and going by the tracking history went on a bit of a trip to get here. Thats amazing service considering how long it takes to get something from the Eastern States to Perth…. Fab machine by the way

    • Mine arrived today, wow better than i was expecting, very happy :)

  • does a simple power adaptor work with these?

    • … was wondering the same thing .. but apparently with italy they have grounding so the centre pin is grounding.. may need a special italy 'euro' adapter :|

  • For those of you still interested in a coffee maker have a look at this

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/78115

Saeco is only $319 delivered and other pod coffee makers are also much cheaper than in Oz.
