Great deal but the passport is only valid until 12 June 2023.

  • Worth going? Trying to plan my trip in September, we were going to go to Fuji Q Highland but I've heard it's not in a great state right now and a few of the better rides are closed indefinitely.

    • Joypolis is a lot of fun, but it’s not up there with Disney. If you do go, be sure to hit it on weekdays while school is in session. You have no hope of experiencing all the rides during school holidays.

      • No kids so we were planning on skipping Disney since we figured it'd be a day of mostly waiting in lines… Still tossing up Universal in Tokyo as well for the same reason.

I’d recommend visiting a Disneyland at least once in your life - it’s unlike any other theme park out there. In this case, DisneySea probably outshines Disneyland.

          Good luck!

do disney during the week. make sure it's not school holiday(or public holiday) . you'll be fine with both of those.
universal in osaka - same deal - during the week and not school holidays (or public holiday)

source- I lived in Japan for 4 years.

Not sure if they still offer it but you can get half priced tickets that can be used for entry after 6pm until close (10pm I think). Wife and I grabbed those and had the best time on a week night, because not only was there not a lot of people around, but there was literally no wait for any of the rides. We did every ride and some rides twice and never had to wait once.

We managed to do the whole park, watch the nightly character parade, visit all the shops for a particular keychain the wife wanted, had dinner, all within 4 hours.

          I highly recommend it.

FYI it's more like a timezone then a theme park.

      • It’s nothing like a Timezone.

  • We spent half a day there a few years ago and had a good time. Food inside wasn't the best but lots of places to eat around. All the rides were in Japanese which didn't matter most of the time but there was a haunted maze at the time which you couldn't complete unless you answered in Japanese. But a staff member come in with us to help translate.
Best to go on a weekday first thing in the morning as it gets really busy after 3pm
Fun place worth a visit if you have some free time

The urinals in the men's toilets have a screen. The more you pee, the crazier the animations get until (eg) there are volcanoes erupting and angry samurai etc etc.

I tried to fool it with a water bottle but it knew better (sad face)

Tempting to pee in a couple of 2L bottles and take them in to tip them out. I just wanna see how crazy the animations get :p

  • I'm glad I went when they had full scale car simulators for Initial D (Eurobeat intensifies)

I got charged international transaction fees with Klook even though I was charged AUD for a local activity.

  • It'd be better getting the Klook Pass if you plan on going here and another eligible place.
