Also FYI, Amaysim uses Optus' coverage and this deal includes 4GB of data.

    • Apologies Michael. This is resolved

  • Isn't $27.93 for 2 days of unlimited calls very expensive?

    • The plan is for 1 month of usage. The sale is only for 2 days.

      • But that's is not how the title reads. You should use this instead:

        Amaysim Unlimited Mobile Plan 2-Day Sale - Save 30% - Now $27.93

Besides, the information about expiry date is already included inside the post, so why confuse the issue and repeat it in the title in such a misleading way?

        • Nice suggestion - have modified accordingly

    • Prity worthy of consideration if you've come up empty for signal from Vodafone, or are tired of outlaying 600/year+ for gold plated Telstra. Every call covered for < 500.00 flat.

  • I've been on amaysim for a few months now. Not one issue with them :)

Is this just for the first month? Or for the duration of the service?

    • +1

Looks like only for the first months billing, then $39.90 p/month therafter. Not very clear though

      • Only if you want to continue with the plan. If you don't recharge then you get put on As You Go.

  • Would happily reccomend Amaysim, switched to them from Telstra about 6 months ago, very happy with the service, even at $39.90/month.

  • Does anyone have any Amaysim vouchers for existing customers?

  • Just to sweeten the deal further. While signing up you can either sign-up as an existing Amaysim user referral (Whim me for my Amaysim no) and get 10$ on your 1st Recharge (PAYG) or after your 1st bill (postpaid).

Otherwise just sign-up using this link : (Its a Referral Link which enables 10$ for both referrer and referee :

bring back the $10 deal and I will be onboard

  • so i am clear with this deal. it is only $27.93 for the first month only, then it goes back up to $39.

    • Yes. If there isn't $39 in your account when the honeymoon is up, you get put on As You Go. So just don't recharge and there will be no further cost. You can reactivate by recharging in the next 90 days or just let the account die.

  • Thanks for this. Was going to go with them in the next few days so this will save me some $

  • Here's another referral account for some variety :).

  • They say this includes 13 numbers, does it include 13xx (ie 1300 numbers)?

  • Lebara is offering Unlimited calls and text, 3GB data for 29.9$ for 30 days! This is their usual plan and isn't just for first month. Uses Vodafone network though! :-(

    http://www.lebara.com.au/unlimited

    Includes:
-Calls to any standard fixed line number in Australia
-Calls to any standard mobile number in Australia (excludes Pivotel)
    -Standard SMS to Australian numbers
-Calls to 6-digit 13 numbers and 1800 numbers
-Calls to voicemail (deposit & retrieval)
-Calls to standard ‘Free call’ numbers including Lebara short code services and emergency numbers
-3GB Data included at no extra cost

    • Another difference, Lebara excludes 1300 numbers.

    • I actually find Optus' 3G coverage more patchy than Vodafone around south west Brisbane…

and you can't use Lebara for overseas calls unless you pay $10 extra. So pretty much the same as the Gotalk's $30 add on.

    • Is Lebara also only using 2G like:
      http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/77333

  • hmm, what about making international calls ?

    • You will need additional credit to make those. Rates are actually very reasonable to many countries.
