Bahco S910BL 92pce 1/4" & 1/2" Black Edition Metric Socket Set w/ Bonus 25pce 1/4" Set $199 Delivered @ Sydney Tools

140

I have a lot of socket sets, but I don't have a Bahco set. Do I need one? Absolutely not; I recently did a full service of my car with a Toolpro-X 3/8" set I got on sale for $89 and a Toledo set which I bought just for a T70 bit to change the diff fluid, and a few other bits and pieces.

Supercheap often has Toolpro sets similar to this for about the same price. They all have screwdriver, hex and torx bits to pump up the numbers. The only negative about this one is the lack of deep 1/2" sockets, but I already have a full Kincrome set, and an impact set if I want to be lazy. Also, the bonus 1/4" thing is cute and I want it, and if you spend $450 on Bahco shit, you get a free cooler.

Sydney Tools also has a bonus points thing where if you drop $500 on shit you don't need, you get $100 in points to spend on other shit you don't need. So that's what I'm doing because it's today only and they're open until 8pm.

I might get a heated M12 Milwaukee jacket with bonus battery (yeah, i know they've been cheaper)

Bahco's S910BL Black Edition 92pce 1/4" & 1/2" Drive Metric Socket Set receive less damage and wear over time to the fastener with the Dynamic Drive™ sockets. The ratchets have a quick release button, enabling the user to quickly switch out sockets.

    Seems pricey

Bahco gear’s really nice in my experience.

If it seems on the exier end of the scale it’s because it’s a quality brand.

I have other Bahco stuff, just not a socket set. They make good gear

I have this set, definitely a quality product but I got it for $179 a few weeks ago. It also included the 1/4 set as a bonus

    • Where from?

      • Same place. Sulydney tools. Googled the model number n came up with this kit + the bonus for $179. Now is $199 when click on website

      • Yep per below, sydney tools I think the Easter long weekend.

  • Wats the warranty?

    • Dunno, I got lazy and just ordered online for C&C tomorrow

Seems careless not to have such basic knowledge both for the you the buyer not knowing plus the manufacturer not to display such basic information on their website. Many tools carry lifetime warranty

        • Australia has robust consumer laws. I rarely check warranty info, except for electronics. Bahco is a good brand. @Quarn—who I assume is a mechanic—has 3 sets and we had a brief exchange about tool quality above. I think I'm good.

But yeah, websites should have that info for consumers. That's on Sydney Tools.

Thanks OP, Grabbed one. Needed a smaller kit I could grab on my way out of the house. Perfect

    • Yeah, this is a pretty good all-in-one kit for most jobs

The main ratchet and spanner set I've used over the last 10 or so years has been a Bahco set and I haven't been kind to it, they're still going strong so would recommend the brand.

The kinchrome ratchet I had on the other hand…

Agree with Kincrome ratchets. My 1/2" Lok-On one is okay but the cheaper ones are pretty shit
