sorry I'm a noob who never even used a hand saw before, what do you mean "order of cuts"? I tried to find a youtube video but couldnt seem to find anything…

Check out the right half of the first image
Is This is just a reciprocating saw?
Also curious how much it differs from a reciprocating saw which I currently use to cut up tree branches into little pieces for disposal.
You can use it more easily with one hand, useful when you are on a ladder
same applies to a recip saw.
Yes
Bought now and will research later as to whether it’s any good.
10.8 V what in the hell is that?
It's just a little internal battery. If you want the 18v with removable, that'll be $327
Equivalent Ozito product for comparison. No battery but would have more power in case you already have batteries in their ecosystem.

$119is the battery changable if no good after 1 year?
I think Ozito have a 3 year warranty on their batteries, so yes, fo back to Bunnings and swap it for a new one.
18v is more powerful
Been using one for years.
Plenty powerful enough and get many cuts from one charge.
Would buy if it’s 18v at this price
As a money making venture can this be used to borrow cat converters?
/fjFWIW mates work has has 15 converters stolen from the yard at his work.
doesn't match the FAFO fear power of the https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-cordless-pruner-sh…
Very happy with mine
Is the following better value
Ryobi ONE+ Brushless Pruning Saw 2.0Ah Kit $128 (Was $299) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ OnePass) @ Bunnings
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/772258This is more portable and for smaller branches
The Ryobi one is for medium to larger branchesI wasnt keen on that one due to having to oil the chain.
Or just get a Ozito reciprocating saw from Bunnings… more versatile.
Does the Ozito need to used with two hands? I’m wanting this mainly to trim some Lilli Pilli and Golden Cane palm branches
Ozito Manual says just squeeze trigger with one hand to turn on, and let go trigger to stop.
Its easier with two hands…. For me anyway.
I have the Ozito, it works alright one handed, I use the other hand to stabilise/control the branch I'm cutting.
The Ozito is pretty good and is basically a recipro saw with a special attachment for holding branches (which is helpful, although not 100% kind to the branch below the cut).
One caveat with the Ozito is that it won't take some thicker recipro saw blades, and it can be a bit hard to get it to release a blade to change it.
Or this for $64 if you have ozito batteries already.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-reciprocating-saw-…Quite happy with mine. Makes one handed trimming much easier and quicker.
Bought one before it sold out - hope it arrives soon!
Actually very powerful and battery lasts for ages.
Learn the order of cuts so you don’t get the blade stuck (applies to any saw)
