The 4 on sale was LTE as well.

    • With LTE on, it won’t even last 1 full day.

      • Agree but usually the lte model will have slightly bigger battery so we buy it for that

        • No, the bluetooth/LTE models have the same battery capacity. They do differ between the 40mm/44mm models.

With the LTE models, you can just turn off LTE and use it bluetooth only.

The Galaxy Watch 5 series watches are very thick, so anyone looking to buy, I would suggest go in store and try it. Look quite odd on wrist with so much thickness and you tend to hit these here and there quite easily. Thats based on my personal experience, others may differ.

    • What is your wrist size? Ie diameter

      • You mean circumference?

      • I was not referring to the diameter, rather the thickness of the watch. Bigger diameter is still manageable but the thickness was somewhat a nuisance for day to day use.

okay but i guess when your wrist is big the thickness factor will feel/looks better than on some skinny wrist, but i get what you mean

    • I found this with the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, way too chunky for my liking despite the cracking price.

imao, bought 5pro with a band for 330 two weeks ago

    • From where

    • With a 20% discount that was targeted and stacked with the Secret Sale price.
These kind of comments don't help anyone in the market for one today.

      • Tbh it may be worth it waiting a few more weeks. Samsung have an abundance of stock and people are tightening their belts harder with rate increase. Multiple samsung watch variants have gone on sale in the last month alone, these prices will most likely fall down lower.

        • My thoughts exactly.
I can’t remember the last time a previous years model hanged around like a bad smell after so many sales (and this isn’t limited to smart watches). People just aren’t spending like they used to.

Not sure if you can price match at Officeworks

  • This or the Pro? What's everyone getting battery life wise with the 44mm compared to the Pro?

    • 410mAh vs 590mAh. Over 40% difference. If battery life is important to you, then the choice is obvious.

  • The watch 5 44mm compared to watch 4 44mm is definately a bigger battery. Had my watch 4 recently replaced with a watch 5 under warranty and it does last another half day longer or so.

  • Go samsung store. Galaxy watch 5 has a $150 off and if you trade in you get another $150 trade in credit. I ended up paying $214 for watch 5 44mm.

    • What did you trade in? @18years

      • iphone 8
