  • Anyone recommend a drone from banggood for $250 ish?? Won some promotion from them and need to spend it

I invested a considerable amount of time researching drones before making a purchase. Although I ended up exceeding my initial budget, I'm thrilled with my decision.

If you're new to the hobby, I highly recommend going with DJI.

While it may be tempting to cut corners and purchase a cheaper drone, I strongly advise against it. Inferior products can quickly diminish the joy of flying and may even pose a safety hazard.

      • Cheapest DJI is the Tello? Is that OK for the price?

        • Sorry, I was looking at entirely different purpose / price-range, can't comment on the Tello

Review says camera is not 4k and drone is not foldable. Sounds like more landfill

  • Just save ur 78 aud, or spend some more to get a d3ceny dji, even if it's 2nd hand. Don't ask me how i come to know that.

  • We had one of these - lasted 10 minutes before it lost signal and just flew off into the sunset

    • This explains why I woke up one day a few months ago and had a drone land in my backyard.

  • Don't buy if you want to use it to take picture or video! The camera is crap, definitely not 4k, the quality is more like 20 years old webcam.
But it is great fun if you/kids just flying with it! battery fair, 20min per battery flight. so 1 hour around using all 3 battery.
they restricted new review on amazon now, a bit doggy!

  • Anyone get this and have the android app do more than minimise and hide itself when it is launched?

I reckon it's on its way back :(
shame as otherwise it seems quite decent for the money (good case - nice to see the extra batteries)
