About this item
Acoustically Invisible Stealth Magnet: Unlike the sound waves created by a conventional magnet, the special shape of Stealth Magnets enables the waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference. HIFIMAN’s advanced magnet design is acoustically transparent, dramatically reducing wave diffraction turbulence that degrades the integrity of the sound waves. The reduced distortion yields pure sonic output that is accurate and full-range.
HIFIMAN Heritage: HIFIMAN’s NEO "supernano" Diaphragm (NsD)- The new NsD is 80% thinner than previous designs, resulting in fast response and detailed image with lush, full range sonics.
The Headband: The light-weight, ergonomically accurate offers maximum comfort for hours of listening pleasure.
The socket can accommodate both dual-sided unbalanced 3.5mm cable and a single-sided 3.5mm balanced cable (left socket). Bluemini R2R (sold separately) is easy of use by connecting on the left socket.

You're correct. I edited the post. I thought all Deva Pros were wireless. Still a good price though. :)
I remember not posting this when it first dropped to $270 after seeing it was a wired variant
and no easy rtings review comparison other than individual like-for-like testimonials
I can't see any mention of a dongle / dac on the linked page. Are they included at this price?
I've edited the post. Sorry, not included at this price.
It's like the fifth thing…

Quality Control on the Hifiman aint the best.
100%. Wouldn't touch them.
Planar drivers are more difficult to match, thus more expensive and so cost competition for the total bill of materials is more challenging at lower price points.
Fixed that for you
There are inherent technology and economic issues and what HIFIMAN does is incredibly high value for the price, and they are more than happy to exchange or return when there's initial problems.
This whole disguised 'cheap Chinese crap' vibe really needs to stop. Audeze have similar issues with their budget gear, and yet no one says boo save for their older wireless products.
All of that aside, the tonal balance on this isn't for everyone, but it's an option for planar soundstage and great - though inconsistent -imaging on a budget, and is the basis for the Drop 5XX.
Totally agree with Jasswolf. I'm using Hifiman for the past 3 years and I love it. The only problem I run into is those ear cups wear out so fast. I'm wearing it daily for about 5-8 hours though. Hence, I always replace ear cups after 1 year. Albeit, Susvara's ear cups are a bit up there..:(
It looks like this is just for the wired version not the wireless like the description suggests
