I'd rather just get a pair of Jabras for cheaper and has noise cancellation in it.
@SpeedRunnerLink any Jabra specifically, do you have a certain one you like or are considering?
The Jabra 7s are pretty good value and are on sale at JB at the moment.

My uses these and they work great.
I'm still using the 85ts which i got on special from Amazon for $170 a year ago but have seen them come on special every few months. Noise cancellation is really good on these and battery life craps over Air Pod pros.

Bare in mind I have owned Air pods 1, 2 and Pros and also Sony WF XM3s and 4s.
So it's from personal experience i would pick the Jabra's over Airpods again if I ever needed a replacement.
Bought at this price ~3 years ago… they've really held their value huh
Apple devices are basically free to rent indefinitely. You just pay the cost of the interest on the money you spend, but in return you get a magical interplay of hardware and software
i paid $99 back in december 2020: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/589283
they should be less than $50 now…surprised they're still being sold since i don't see gen 1 airpod pro's around any more
Don’t they all come with a charging case?
To differentiate between the variant with the wireless charging case and the one without. This is the latter.
I got an email couple days ago from apple saying airpods pro 2nd gen for $219, I clicked on link and it was normal airpods 2nd gen. later got email saying it was mistake. i already have 1st gen pro but i would definitely bought 2nd gen pro for that price, what a let down that was.
For me these are the most comfortable iteration
I agree. I like to fall asleep to an audiobook, and these are the most comfortable I've found, and fall out once I'm asleep. I find them under my pillow in the morning. The Pros tend to stay in the ear and hurt when you lie on them - better for jogging, not for sleeping. :-)
Same price in officeworks and jb
Is it 2019 again
Sometimes an upgrade is not an upgrade
And live through the plandemic again ? Not a chance in hell , but they're not done yet !
Bad sound accuracy and no ANC, expensive, just apple things.
Give us a better alternative at that price, preferably with the instant connectivity these provide, and you'll get a +1.
(Honest request here, I'd love an alternative to this).
i'm tempted, but is this still good in 2023? thanks
It doesn't lose its flavour, I guarantee!
price isn't good. battery might not be so fresh depending on if its new or old stock
why would they have old stock? I doubt it
2nd gens have been in production since early 2019.
@tdw: Mine had ~75% charge when I got them yesterday. What would you expect for old stock, 20%? Or flat.
Just got mine, does anyone else get instant headaches from these or other wireless headphones? First use of 10 mins and my head feels weird.
No?
They're decently light, so you should really hardly feel them when you're wearing them. And if it's not the weight that's the issue, I can't really see what it could be
I personally have never but l know people that have experienced headaches.
Are you also inherently concerned with any health side affects that might come with using these Bluetooth devices? It might be a
placebonocebo thing?False alarm on the headaches thankfully. Couple hours use today which is the next day and no dramas. Bad timing for a random headache yesterday.
Seem to be price-beating The Good Guys, currently at $179:
