        There's no logic for that at all…

        The biggest lawsuits they've faced up until now are regarding talcum powder, and its relation to asbestos contamination.

        The claims of ovarian cancer links are yet to be confirmed, and it's very unlikely they'll get definitive evidence to prove that use of it does indeed cause cancer. J&J are just settling because they'd rather pay up money than cop these class actions being drawn out. Not to mention they're removing talc from their baby powder so that's not going to be an issue anymore.

        Those lawsuits also have nothing to do with their other well selling lines of personal care goods like soaps and baby shampoo.
        Avoiding them just because they got sued just sounds lazy, which is fine. Trying to convince people though is another thing
