god. damn. it.
I remember the 6800XT was $799 last July.
How is getting the non XT for $30 less 10 months later "lucky"?
"Lucky" is comperative. Someone won 1 mil lottery last july doesnt make 3 people win 5 grands today unlucky.
Not a right analogy comparing people winning lottery. Here people have to pay for these GPUs and this non-XT price still sux.
@edfoo: It's cheapest at the moment tho. I understand people will always compare a deal to the ATL but every new deal can't always be ATL deal and we have to live with it
@Masticccc: That's why the overused "HODL" comment being used in OzBargain.
If the price still sux, we HODL.
@edfoo: Sometimes the HODL hurt. Like the comment mentioned last July was probably when 6800 XT cheapest. People said hold for cheaper price, and how much we get for 6800 XT now lol
Time is money, and the HODLers waste a lot of money for a few bucks drop in price
Hey @ChatGPT you seems to be keeping track of price really well, would you happen to know any place to get a AMD 6800/6800xt/6900xt/6950xt Reference?
My last one magically died in middle of no where but I still have the reference design water block on me. I wouldn't mind to get another one.
For new reference cards, EU is the best bet
thought I can only buy it if it's Amazon AU via AmazonUK etc?
not sure how direct purchase would work with tax etc.
Depends on the item (manufacturer has to allow shipping to AU) and the local Amazon (Amazon country has to ship to AU)
That card from Amazon IT shows as total EU$802 shipped to AU
Your biggest issue will be to find a card that sits under AU$1000 including shipping because above that, GST and duties become an issue
Getting the part numbers for each reference card and Googling will be the quickest way to find a shop with the card
@Look Up: thanks so much, i think I need to consider either get this or a 4070ti, as the price isn't too far apart and this is not brand new you know
3 lucky people bought the card and now Amazon have jacked the price to $874.86
Price for RX 6800 XT has just been dropped again, deal back on
RX 6900 XT also down to $945.22
