Discover average scotch 4 times!
Jonny Walker only makes one decent whiskey - Green, relying on Talisker and the Speyside stills and it isn't here.
Respectfully, I disagree the black is just fine given my old go to Lagavulin 16 is nearly $200 a bottle.
Double black is great for the price!
Especially with premium coke.
But is it Scottish premium coke?
@sator: When it's on sale, then yes…
I was actually unironically impressed by smoothness of double black jw after years of just writing it off.
Double Black tastes great.
It's the best value scotch, for sure…
@jv: A cheap version of my fav Laphroaig.
@PVA: A bit cheaper than my favourite too, Glenfarclas…
@jv: Holy crap!
Laphroaig is under a hundred…
Johnnie walker is often snubbed but the celebratory blend at 51% abv is a great Dram and the Sherry finish whilst very weak in terms of Sherry notes on the palpate has a good nose and is a much more approachable version of black label.
The origins black label range was also much better that the standard jw fare.
Black is Beautiful :-)) 😊✌️🌹
