  • I paid $15 for one from Amazon a couple of weeks back.

  • Any real user has feedback on this ?? My aunt just got told by her dentist that she has gum disease and advised her to use a waterpik, if it is good it will save her $40 than buying from the shops.

I have the large water flosser with cord - it's a bit noisy but seems to do the job. I've not used other brands so have nothing to compare it to, unfortunately.

Was curious also about the cordless version but have a feeling the smaller water tank would run out quicker and possibly need refilling to clean the whole mouth in one session? This combo set might be ideal as you get both cord and non cord from the looks of it

    • My dentist says these aren’t very useful. She has me using piksters instead.

I have one of the Waterpiks but we don’t use it often.

My dentist has me using the lot - piksters, water floss, string floss

        • I think it all depends on the gaps between your teeth.

  • I have the large corded one too and it's excellent. A bit bulky but worth it. I recently bought a lesser known brand portable one and it's ok but nothing like the waterpik

Just thought I'd share advice from my periodontist. He said they're better than nothing if you can't floss effectively (elderly, disabled etc) but otherwise advised not to use one and to instead use a good flossing technique deep into the pockets between the teeth.

    • My dentist advised the same. I love mine, I use it when I wouldn't otherwise floss, and after some meals (anything with meat, or popcorn). I still floss every few days, the waterpik definitely keeps that 'floss feeling' for longer between flosses.

    • I'm using both.
I use this Waterpik with warm salt water

  • I've heard that proctologists recommend these over bidets as you're able to more accurately target and poke deeper into any problem areas.

    • Hmmm…. "Insert Suspicious Fry meme"

  • Does anyone know whether this cordless one uses replaceable AA batteries?
    Thanks
