It was a year ago, I don't think Amazon will accept returns that long ago.
JB price matched for me but, due to no stock anywhere around me in EB stores, added the $5.95 shipping fee. Some JB staff won't add the delivery, mine did. $24.95 all up.
JB called me back saying they can't price match because there is no stock from EB in Australia (presumable no stock that can be shipped locally to me).

Was it ever on PS Plus Essential? I must have been in a coma or something. I played it on Extra, was fun for the first few hours and then it got frustrating. I'm just not good with rogue like games. :(
I still like to own many of the games that may be on a subscription service. Games get delisted all the time, so often I’ll still grab the better titles when the price is good.

Jb hifi refused to price match
Made a dodgy excuse about stock levels. Told them its available at my store.
Anyway, i lodged a complained with fair trading for falsly advertising price match promise and making dodgy excuses and sent them screen shots of online chat
Gotham knights was a disappointment. Story is slow, too much things to do before you actually get to the good part. Turned off the background music about halfway thru the story, it was getting annoying. But 9$ is not bad, put it on a shelf or play a little.
Returnal is great. Still playing it and pairs nicely with a pro controller. It reminds me of Angela from the Office, lol

Gotham Knights is truly super underrated. Negative reviews didn't make sense. I actually enjoyed playing it. Zero bugs/glitches on PS5. Scored Platinum Trophy.
Batman Arkham Asylum will be always the best Batman game ever!

Bought it for $9 on PS5 in this sale. The combat is very clunky compared to the Rocksteady Batman games , city feels very empty and the city graphics are worse than Arkham Knight in some places, a game from 2015.

I was in store 9.45am and the store manager said he saw there was no stock for Returnal store wide.
Placed mine 6:40am Saturday and still got cancelled….
I ordered at 7:40, so not early enough I guess. Unless they just arbitrarily pick the orders to be fulfilled. Who knows?

eBay order placed and paid at 11:50pm on April 21, confirmation email received with timestamp of 6:48am April 22. Cancellation email 2:38pm on April 25 (today).
I got in very early, but they either didn't fill them in a first come, first served basis, or there never was enough stock to go around.
I would've settled for a pre-owned copy (if they asked). Less than impressed.
@Graffin: Yeah not very impressed either. Not sure if anyone with a shipped order via eBay got one, but I suspect stock wasn’t allocated out and they didn’t go to pick it until days later.
What’s especially poor is they re-listed Returnal at 7:30PM that evening.

Got the above response which indicates eBay and their internal systems are not in real time alignment. Good to know for the future I guess if there’s a deal that will have high demand.
Probably would have changed my purchase decision anyway such that I wouldn’t have got it. Would have gone from $14 with free shipping after coupon versus $26 or so shipped via their own store with extra shipping, given C&C wasn’t an option.
@Graffin: They actually wouldn't sell you preowned copy as at some point they cost more than new especially for clearance games.
I remembered FF7 Remake New was $20ish but preowned $44, and they couldn't do anything about the preowned price.

Sorry to hear about all the Returnal eBay order cancellations. It appears even those who ordered from the first eBay listing got cancelled … no idea why they would even list it a second time later that day, though. Poor form.
I received my copy today, but I was also the first order on the first listing around 5 am. It wasn't sealed though, so might possibly have been preowned? But for $14 delivered I'm fine with that.
My returnal received isn’t sealed. Box is scratched for a while and disc has marks. I think it’s a trade in one and not brand new
