They don't do Hi-res files (yet) there's been talk about FLAC and DSD but nothing yet, so it's mp3. You want Hi-res then you'll have to go elsewhere like Tidal for instance.

Ive runout of unique CC for new user sub. Spotify detects the Card by the card num, even if it has a new Exp date and pin wont allow for new account. Any other workarounds OzBs?
I've subscribed to Premium previously, but Spotify still gave me the offer via email and in the app. It even told me on the first page the offer took me that the offer wasn't available, but when I purchased the three months for $11.99, the cart clearly said I was getting three months for $11.99 followed by $11.99 per month after. I think the actual terms and conditions say something about having only had Premium prior to mid-March (i.e. not a recent cancellation) for eligibility. I think this is my second time in a year that I've decided that I'm happy with paying $4 per month for 3 months, but I don't use Spotify enough for it to be worth $12 per month for me.
Just get the mod version for android no need to pay. I only paid before so can listen to music offline on the plane and as soon as i land it logs me out and when i log back in all my downloaded music is gone. Aint getting a cent from me

I wont rely on free apk mods that are not tried and found safe by someone who I know understands security.
As there are chances some mods would be dangerous… and spywares.
By installing such apks you are pretty much giving free access to your phone!

@virtuallife: Well ive been running mod for youtube, spotify, movies for over 10 years no issues. I do also have bitdefender mobile which scans and lets me know what permissions each apk i download uses

Spotify IS a ripoff on normal pricing. I'm simply suggesting people try a cheaper and higher quality alternative that's readily available.
