Morning Fresh 900ml Dishwashing Liquid $2 @ Bunnings Pakenham
Better than Half Price deals at Coles and Woollies
TIL Bunnings sell Morning Fresh
How is this compared to Finish tablets?
We have a Bosch dishwasher, and it came with Finish recommended.
Thanks
This is not for the dishwasher machine.
Oh, I see
Thanks
Don’t use it in dishwasher, unless you want to see all bubbles in your house lol
Tried this once. Never again. 😱 thankfully didnt wreck the washer as was the experience of googlable others. Surfactants and carriers/fillers vary widely.
Adding hair conditioner puts an emergency pause on over-sudding FYI.
Will OW price match?
What's so great about this? The Aldi one for 1L is $1 normal price
Some people like certain brands. Even if you think they’re identical, not every does.
Which one is $1?
I think it's the really basic one that IMO is pretty diluted in comparison. Woolies/Coles I think also sell a similar one.
I'm not a dish soap snob by any stretch of the imagination, going purely on price imo I'd think I easily use less than half of this one than the cheaper $1 one. But I'd be curious to know of that even holds true.
This require less elbow grease
Now this is value!
They call me morning fresh 🎵🎵
Bargain! I’ll take this over the 1 or 2$ Aldi water in a bottle the Mrs insists on buying any day of the week
The only one at Aldi that comes close to Morning Fresh is Tandil - the smaller bottle of concentrate - called "Power Soak & Clean". Came up top in the choice tests, and I can vouch for it. Cleans really well. https://www.aldi.com.au/fileadmin/fm-dam/Products/Groceries/…
Because it's concentrate you don't need to use much.
But if I'm going past a good deal at Morning Fresh I'll get it. Just head and shoulders above the rest - actually cleans properly where the cheaper ones you can still feel grease on plates.
I need to wear gloves using this stuff though, it dries my skin out terribly. But I don't mind wearing gloves in any case as I can then have the water piping hot.
dont like the taste of these personally
Stopped using this once they changed their formula about five years ago.
I agree, I stopped using it for a while and recently came back to it was very confused for a while. Then when I found out the formula changed it all made sense.
Steer clear, it's useless.
Probably close to "best before" date. :D
Anyway, have switched to Dawn, much thicker and better clean. Costco has the 2.66L variant for $15, or $12 when on sale.
https://www.costco.com.au/DAWN/Dawn-Platinum-Advanced-Power-… (ignore the website price, it's much cheaper instore)
Surely the best before date shouldn't be strictly adhered to for this stuff?
I doubt it goes off hehe
Still made in Indonesia? mmm the Aldi stuff is made in Australia and cheaper and does the job.
They're rubbish. Not what it used to be. The ALDI brand is better.
I still find the old classic Palmolive the best.
What's rubbish about Dish Soap?
It's rubbish comparing to what it used to be. Now you have to use double the amount to get the same cleaning strength.
Whenever I see morning fresh I'm always reminded of this:
Just got some. Pushed a bloke wearing moccasins to reach them.
