    I need a Westpac card!

  • +1

I also finally need a Westpac card!!

  • If I’ve already booked, would they allow me to cancel and rebook for higher cashback?

    • +4

      Just make sure:
      1. You can still cancel your booking without penalty at this point in time (but don't cancel it yet)
      2. Make a new booking (to make sure that it's available at the price you want and your cashback is tracked)
      3. Then go and cancel your old one

So you don't end up with no booking and unable to book a new one.

        Thanks, sounds like good process

  • Shame their bookings are pay now.

Expedia is always more expensive than Agoda whenever I compare prices.

  • Damn another Westback deal ill miss. Using SB so rarely these days.

  • While I would love to have 24% cashback, I don't have a Westpac card, however 14% is still awesome and the hotel I booked was the same price as other websites so no Uncle Jack!

    • Westpac Debit card is eligible too. You can open the Westpac Choice account (monthly fee waived if you are under 29 or deposit $2k) and get the digital card relatively quick

  • Where can I find info about 10% extra with Westpac Lounge? Does it mean I have to pay with Westpac card?

    • +2

Open your SB app, click the Westpac menu and you should find it there. You need to link your Westpac eligible card there first and then use it on your transactions directly (no Paypal or other 3rd party services)

Is flight bookings eligible for the 10% bonus cashback as well?

  • How do I get the Westpac lounge? Does it work with a Westpac Debit card?

  • Will using promo code, "MASTER10" invalidate the cashback?

    • +1

Yes, it’s not an approved code

  • Booked a hotel on expedia 4 hours ago but no tracking yet :o

    • +1

I did mine almost 8 hours ago, still no tracking yet either. If it's similar to Booking.com, the tracking should come tomorrow

  • Is the cap per account or transaction?

  • Whats the best westpac card / account to get? Fee free ideally as would only use it for these deals not my daily

  • how quickly it will get tracked?

  • +1

For those that didn't get tracking - it says can be up to 4 days for Expedia.

After being burnt I ALWAYS screenshot pre and post purchase with ShopBack extension open and proof it was done. Been useful on a couple of occasions when they tried to not honour cashback.

Scored a great deal as for some reason had a VIP discount applied to the hotel I wanted. Was $3582 on Expedia originally, the cheapest across all other sites was Agoda at $3211.

Paid $2400 plus will get $336 cashback! Super happy. Thanks raj5055

  • Is Expedia payment merchant is Au? Try to decide if I need use 28degrees or not.

  • Got mine tracked overnight
