WH-1000XM5 are even closer!
I think it's worth holding out and spending the extra $$$ on the WH-1000XM5. Such a massive upgrade
Mixed reviews rather than unanimously positive across the board
Some prefer the previous models XM3, XM4
Not everyone likes the form factor either. XM2-XM4 have foldable form factor where as the XM5’s do not fold down.

What is the lowest price so I can buy a pair.
For me XM3's (better codec support, fold flat) > XM4's (fold flat, slightly better NC) > XM5's (is there is a actual improvement)?
I have fairly small ears, it still touch my ears and cause uneasiness. I suggest you try them buy, otherwise it's a money wasted. I sold mine with no regrets.
