Sorry, I can't recommend a 24" 144/165Hz monitor to anyone.

  a lot of competitive gamers prefer smaller screens so it fits in their FOV better.

  1080p is perfect at 24inches.
  
  I found that 1440P is perfect for 27"
  
  And 4k for anything over 27".
