You can use this one: APRL17

    • +1

      APRL15 for no Plus members

      • Weird, I tried the APRL15 and APRL17 codes but it says 'this code can't be applied to your order'.

        Anyone know why?

I have a few items in my order, but usually voucher codes never had an issue with that.

        • "Eligible items" normally the seller needs to be eBay plus as well. t&c here

          • @Sheng: oh right! Wow, all 8 sellers I'm buying from aren't plus members.
That's a first for me lol

            • @solo55: I am probably wrong thought. Have you tried both codes? Maybe it worth trying the items in separate transactions.

            • @solo55: I tried the code on my item which was eBay Plus and it wasn't accepted. Clearly not all eBay Plus.

If anyone is chasing after the Zelda Switch controller, here’s the cheapest for pre order on eBay. If sold out, the next cheapest is from The Gamesmen at $123.95

    $119.95 - ((10% + 15%) of $119.95) - ($10 cashback for a $100 Swap gift card) - ($5 bonus cashback from $50 ShopBack x Westpac challenge) - ($3 eBay bonus cashback) - ($0.37 cashback for a $15 eBay gift card from ShopBack = $71.59 after cashback

Noting that the controller retails for $109 on most platforms, it’s only worth it if you’re willing to wait for the cashbacks

    • Why only -10? You can buy more than one swap gift card to get 10% off.

      • To get 15% Westpac bonus you have to charge something to your Westpac card.

        • swap gift cards let you swap in increments. so at least $115

          • @ATangk: The upsized cashback on the gift cards is only for $50 and $100 denominations.

If you have the need for more then by all means buy whatever amount you want, swap to $118 and pay the remaining $1 with Westpac for the bonus.

    • Add another 15% off at checkout with APRIL15 as it’s listed on ShopBack so we can use it.

    • ~^ me I'm going to be broke again .

Any chance the Spend N Save codes could be added to be allowed 🥺

  • Do items with Best Offer accepted price qualify?

    • I'd like to know too

      • Looks like answer is repeated a few times below - best offer is NOT eligible

    • Items with Best Offer accepted prices and Auctions are not eligible for Cashback I'm afraid, per eBay's "Dont's" on our website. If the item has a Best Offer and a Buy Now option, the Buy Now is fine, but any Offer or Auction prices will be invalidated by eBay.

      @Punkboy FYI.

The note says partial gift card payment will earn the Westpac BONUS cashback (15%) on full purchase amount. How about the 10% uplifted cashback? Thanks.

    • Always has in the past.

    • Yeah fully stackable to use gift cards and redeem base Cashback and any Challenge Bonuses, only the Westpac Bonus requires the particular payment method be used.

      • I am looking to buy an item worth $183. If I pay 150$ using gift cards and 33$ with Westpac card. Do I get 18.3$(10%) ebay cashback and 20$ westpac bonus + extra 3$?

I also have ebayplus redemption code(spend xxx get 20$ off). If I use this for item $183 then it becomes $163 and I pay $150 with gift cards and $13 with Westpac card how much cash back I will get it total including Westpac bonus?

        • +1

come on man, just read the OP

        • probably not, because your "spend xxx get $20 off" code will not be listed on shopback

  • Thanks OP!
The “ Tickets, Travel > Luggage” category is not mentioned on the cashback info/rates page. Does this mean it’s not included?

  • No where on the link/in the title/or in the graphics does it say this is a westpac exclusive offer but in the terms on the left it says:

    "DOs
Pay with your eligible linked Westpac card to earn bonus Cashback."

So is the 10% offer only for Westpac cards?

    • "DOs
Pay with your eligible linked Westpac card to earn bonus Cashback."

That's just for the bonus 15%, you will still get 10% without a westpac card.

      • so is it a typo on the listing?

        https://imgur.com/a/SGpKcIn

        • Nope that’s still correct. Bonus cashback is referring to the 15% cashback when you pay with your eligible Westpac card. Upsized base cashback for all ShopBack customers will track at 10%

  • would you get cashback on an item if it is delivered from overseas ?

    • I bought from overseas at 7am and hasn’t tracked yet

    • +1

Yeah that's fine, just has to be through the AU website.

  • Would anyone happen to know if this can be stacked with the monthly eBay Plus $5 voucher?

    • +3

Nope as that will be considered using a voucher code at checkout

  • +1

Only if the 5% PLUS codes are included =S

  • I’m guessing PayPal payments with your westpac card aren’t bonus eligible?

    • +2

      No

  • Does cashback work is best offers on used items?

    • Auctions and Best Offer purchases do not qualify for cashback.

      • Hi mate thank you for the reply, what about if it has a buy it now price and a best offer, If I buy it now does that qualify?

        • Yes, if you take the Buy Now price it will be eligible for cashback.

  • so just to confirm there is no cashback if using a gift card purchases in the Swap Celebration for Ebay? It either one or the other??

    • +1

Using giftcards at ebay still qualifies for cashback, most other places not the case but ebay is fine with giftcards and cashback, but if you want the 15% westpac bonus, a partial payment with a westpac card is needed.

  • Only Buy It Now purchase? Can I make an offer to seller and then buy if they accept offer and still get this CashBack?

    • see corcivillius' comment apparently not - Auctions and Best Offer purchases do not qualify for cashback.

    • Items with Best Offer accepted prices and Auctions are NOT eligible for cashback

    • Has to be "add to cart". You can always ask the seller to make you a new listing. I've done it a couple of times and have had shipping included.

      • Thanks, just messaged seller.

  • Does tracking of the Westpac bonus work if using the Westpac Card through PayPal?

    • +1

      nope

    • +1

      NO!!!! I tried before

  • if you use the code "PLUSITUP" will it work for the 10% + 15% cashback or is it no voucher codes at all when you check out?

    • ONLY APRL17/15 is eligible to stack with cashback :(

      • Thanks, noted after I posted.

  • Where can I find those stackable codes? Thanks.

    • In the shopback app after you click ebay store, before you click "shop in app", at the top it should be another tab says "deal". Scroll all the way to the bottom to see available codes

      • Thank you. Would have never found that lol

  • Hi rep can you please clarify if seller provided coupons automatically applied at checkout invalidate cashback?

    • If it's an auto-applied coupon should be sweet!

      • Hmm comes up as a ‘discount’ in the checkout and won’t let me remove it despite there being a tick box.

Might have to risk it for the biscuit.

        Thanks for the reply @gotyourback

  • I can use Swap GC for 10% cashback and buy on Ebay for another 10% cashback, am I reading this correctly? And I'm not with Westpac, just general purchase

    • Yes

  • Hi Can you use Swap Celebration GC and get the10% cashback and bonus 3%?

    • +1

Unsure exactly what you mean, gift cards are fine to use at eBay to get the 10% offered here, and fine to be used to redeem the $3 Challenge Bonus for eBay running at the moment.

You could get a Celebration Swap card at 10% Cashback after 3pm today, and use that on your order and get 10% Base Cashback + $3 Bonus from the Challenge (provided it's not fully redeemed by 3 which is looking unlikely), giving you about $23 Cashback on a $100 spend.

Let me know if that helps to clarify!

  • Apple AirTag: Is the extra $10 off here ok for upsized and Westpac cashback today? No coupon code input as $10 off applied automatically at check out.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/295302409816?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…

    • Yeah anything automatically applied shouldn't cause trouble.

  • +1

If we exceed the $20 cap does it revert to the regular CB rates after? Eg: $20 Cap + 1% regular CB?

Or does this promo cap everything at $20 max?

    • Great question, would also love to know!!!

    • +1

The cap is total per purchase, so if you were to spend more than $200 in one purchase, you'll still get $20 Maximum Cashback on the order. If you're able to split your purchase over separate orders, you can redeem the $20 cap multiple times.

      @Splashtash

      • However, is it still $20 max per type of track (e.g., $20 cap on eBay CashBack + $20 cap on Westpac CashBack? So total of $40 cashback)?

        • That's correct, $20 for base Cashback and $20 separately for Westpac Bonus Cashback, $40 total per purchase.

          • @gotyourback: What's the normal cashback rate on camera lenses? i have a purchase to make, but might get more cashback by waiting until the $20 cap expires. Looks like it will revert to 2% cashback tomorrow? and westpac lounge gives another 2% on top of that?

            • +1

@eggboi: Yeah mate, so Existing Customers receive 0.5% on typical days, and New Customers receive 2%, And Westpac's typical bonus rate is 2%.

  • nice, been waiting for an ebay or aliexpress deal and they both land today!

  • I made a purchase for $103 and the eBay portion tracked at $2.30 and Westpac tracked at $1.15. These numbers don't make sense to me, will the cashback be subsequently updated?

    • +1

Huh, might just be one portion of the purchase tracked and the rest will come through a bit later, particularly if you've purchased multiple items/from multiple sellers. If you don't see it fixed up come the end of the 7 day tracking period eBay have, shoot me a message and I'll take a look in better details for you.

      • I only purchased 1 item which is why the numbers looked odd to me

        • +2

Happy to take a look to make sure there's no issue, shoot me a message with your email address and I'll take a look.

      • I just had a similar issue. Checked out 40$ of items (2 of the same item) on westpac card and instantly tracked two westpac bonus ebay lines of .45 and .67. very confused. It should be about $6 for 15%?

    • How has yours tracked so fast? When did you buy and when did it track?

      • Tracked as soon as I made the purchase, but amounts were wrong

      • Mine hasn't tracked either - made a purchase this morning using APRL17 promo code.

  • Sometimes there are seller offers of x% off if you buy more than 1 item from their store etc etc, that won't invalidate cashback right? There is no coupon to apply, it gets automatically discounted on checkout.

    • Yeah anything auto-applied shouldn't cause trouble.

  • Thanks got my westpac bonus tracked(bought the item at midnight), used the “april17” code

  • Can I use 'PLUSITUP' code? Can I use the eBay Plus $5 monthly credit?

  • Dumb question, if my spend and save gives me $50 off, im better off using that and losing the 10% cashback which is capped at $20, and the $3 bonus challenge? Or do i need a coffee lol

    • Yeah forgo it. Always take direct discount over cashback. I have 8 of those STUDENT20 codes but all the items I have are under $80 and not worth stacking into one purchase.

      • Good advice!

  • Was there an issue with the cash back rate this morning? I clicked the banner of 10% and it tracked fine but only at 2%

    • Not that I'm aware of, but I have had another user have trouble, flagging is with the tech team in case it's not rectofoed by eBay. If you send me a DM I'm happy to take a look at yours with more detail too.

  • To get the Westpac bonus on top of regular bonus, do you need to click through from Westpac lounge? Or is it OK to click through regular ShopBack website and pay with linked Westpac card? A little confused but hoping the latter works 🤞

    • +1

Yeah latter works fine, so long as you click through from somewhere from ShopBack and use your linked card, you're good to go.

      • And in this case, the $3 bonus will track too? I am also confused if I need to click thru the challenge or not. Spent $100+ at 3.30pm and not tracked yet. Should I be worry or gonna be ok?
