Hoping for a device that is straight up plug and play, but can deal with downloading drivers if needed. Budget would be from $100 - $180.
Any Deals on a USB C or 3.0 Audio Interface?

It's not a bandwidth issue. My Behringer's USB 2.0 is not working, so I'm looking to switch. Even though the laptops at work have USB 3.0 and its supposed to downgrade, my mic still won't work when plugged in. And I'm not into using the Apple adapter as it won't let me connect my headphones and XLR mic through the audio device.
USB-3 should not matter. The only question is A or C physical connector.
Ah, you want a mic input ADC, I see.
Are you wanting a 3.5mm TRRS? Try https://www.google.com/search?q=3.5mm+trrs+usb-c
Or separate in and out ports? It shouldn't matter but often does. I've had audio interfaces and other external devices that don't work correctly on USB 3 ports for some reason
Are you using a longer cable or running it through USB hubs / docks / etc?
I've got a focusrite that's pretty finnicky with that, needs to be plugged directly into my laptop because it constantly drops out when using a USB hub / dock.
It’s using the stock USB cable from Behringer. My device just hates 3.0 ports as I have issues with it on my personal computers too.
3.0? Audio is very low-bandwidth by USB standards. USB 1.0 is way faster than needed.
And low bandwidth means low tech. 20kHz ain't rocket science!
Sounds like you are screaming "I know nothing about audio electronics, but have a pile of money so please exploit me."
USB has a standard for audio interface, so there is no reason for custom drivers.
Since this is OzBargain, I will share the best bargain for a USB-C audio interface. It comes from a surprising place: Apple.

Do not let the $15 price tag fool you. This is excellent. Adding a zero will not magically make it better.
