The wording isn't exactly clear. The wording recommends using PayPal but the offer of 50% is based on using a Westpac card.

I just copied and pasted SB website

  • Do you tip the delivery guy?

    • +3

“Work hard; be good to your mother.”

  • Seems confusing, if you use Paypal you won't get your 50%

    • So then use westpac card to pay and not PayPal?

        Wot?

"We recommend using the ShopBack app & paying with PayPal for tracking success."

        • It's clearly a westpac bonus… From the title here and if you want to use the offer on the app you have to go to the westpac lounge.

One would think using a westpac card would be sensible and it's clear the standard terms haven't been updated where PayPal is typically recommended

@Chocobros: Does anybody care . Its either free or don't go any where near this crap .

            • @lostgoat: Yeah you're not wrong. They messed up my order last time and it just didn't taste overly great…

Maybe it's all the cashback offers and eating it too much :/

Also thought to try that cheese dip thing which is absolutely terrible 🤢

50% off with a $20 cap is better than 100% off with $10 cap, but only barely.

    • That's only true in the specific case, ie. if you order is $20+ before the discount.

      So not true in general.

      • Surely the vast majority of orders would be $20+?

The other reason why it's better is because delivery is hidden into the cost of the pizzas. So, even just getting one large pizza, even the cheapest kind, would still end up costing you a stupid amount. With this one, you can use the $30ish vouchers on the site and get an actually good discount. Pizza is great for sharing and makes for great leftovers, too.

        • Surely the vast majority of orders would be $20+?

Not in my bubble, not sure if "the vast majority", but both options surely have their target.

Yeah this is much better for me. I only order delivery for pizza hut . Too lazy for pick up. Total always ends up to be above $30 for those deals.

  • +2

They have refused because bonus last time due to technicality. And these past pizza offer can see reduced ingredients sometime. A bit dodgy.

  • I find it a bit weird that the $10 100% cashback previous deal you could order as many times as you want.
This deal strictly $20 per customer hehe .

  • paid with Westpac card as usual but they tracked normal rate only not the bonus one:(

    • +1

Westpac one is added as a separate bonus

  • Scheduled for mon . Bonus tracked .

  • Ugh, so when I placed my order I never got a confirmation but it did go through to them. Bonus never tracked, probably because of this, and now realising I can’t claim because I don’t have any proof.
