Sorry for posting something that is of standard price. Never believe Kathmandu's RRP.

      • This applies to all outdoor stores (except Paddy Pallin I believe). Macpac, Kathmandu, Mountain Designs etc.

My brother works in one outdoor store. If someone comes in wanting to pay full price for something he politely recommends they return in 3 weeks time when it will be half price.

Cost price for most items is 30% of RRP.

sorry in advanced just in case i didn't include something haha
    don't judge!

    • Unfortunately, members here get a little sensitive with things like. "Take it easy I am a first time poster", which in itself assumes that people here are ogre's. Not a nice way of introducing yourself to any group.

I would guess assumptions were made, that your "premptive" apology was made on that basis, rather than being for missing information.

The votes show things differently. Nice post

Kathmandu have huge markups. 60% off would get you near the regular price.

  • Yep. I agree with the other posters above. Do not buy Kathmandu stuff unless it is at least 50% off. They have those sales four times a year, so you don't have to wait long if you miss one.
