Coles MasterCard Gift Cards to Buy Super Swap Gift Card Banned by ShopBack?

Have been buying Super Swaps on Shopback with these discounted Master Gift Cards from Coles without any issues. But today after I swipe to pay, a window pops up saying "Payment unsuccessful. we've detected some unusual activity and couldn't proceed. Please try again later, or contact our customer service for help."

I tried again after a couple hours and it was still unsuccessful. Also unsuccessful on same card with partners SB account.

Does anyone know if this is just a glitch in SB's system or just SB blacklisted Coles Master GCs?

    Sounds like code restrictions issuer side. They shut down cashing out via wise in the same way

    Interesting. I cashed out some Coles Gift Mastercards at Shopback for Amazon cards last week - so it's new if it's a change.
    That or a glitch…

    That why the best hacks are never published here thanks to people like OP bring crap to the light so in this case GYB can shut it down .
    For me OP if something that worked doesn't anymore . I will at least keep my mouth shut and figure out the next thing .

      Posting here about exploits is more effective at getting them shut down then contacting the company directly would be. Plenty of companies monitor this site and in the past have closed loopholes within a short timeframe of someone posting them. Anyone with half a brain would keep it to themselves as posting here for everyone to benefit is unsustainable as the company will close it down.

        Using eGC to buy giftcard has been mentioned over the years before some companies closed it. It is still valid at some. I don't mind sharing something like this at all as I have benefited from some others' comments over the times. A single person's capacity is limited. Without some discussions and hints, one person cannot find that many exploits.

        I don't mind companies closing down the "loophole", either. If it is not supposed to be, so be it. These comments make the companies to do the right things.

          My favourite mythical but true non published deal was in the early days of Ebay + . Merchants were getting postage from Ebay for each gift card sale . eg sell 200 X $20 Wish gift cards the merchants charged Ebay $1900 postage passing on deals to consumers of around 60% of face GC's . The close circle smashed em for over well into 5 figures of physcial actually card sales. That was not the only target hehe .

    cant use in Catch.com.au, or add it in paypal, also payment failed to buy wish gift card what a BS

      Is it worth trying for a refund due to them not working anywhere? Kind of weird to block a card. It’s still money for them.
