    I need a deal on an AMD 5900x with 32GB DDR4 3060ti 12gb

    • +3

Shoot us a live chat, we may be able to help with this one!

    • +3

      since when did a 3060TI 12GB exist 💀

      • +7

just take the 3060ti and download more vram

    • This is my exact setup minus the 12Gb part… cost me too much at the time

  • +3

Fantastic deal! It’s good to see 3060ti PCs come down in the last year

    • +6

Cripes there’s no helping some people.

    • You can shoot us a live chat via our website (bottom left hand corner)

      • Sent cheers

Not a great deal compared to past offerings. Just a few weeks ago this vendor had 11400f CPU (much better than ryzen 3600) for same price with same gpu.

    • +1

Yeah I want to pull the trigger on this one but the 3600 is holding me back…

    • -5

The last 11400F deal was more expensive ($1049). This one also has the option to upgrade to a 5600 (a much better CPU)

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/763832

Edit: go ahead and downvote me for linking to a better PC for cheaper from the same seller 3 weeks ago lol.

        • +3

Not sure why the downvotes. This is absolutely not a great deal comparatively

        • Also not sure why the downvotes. You are right in that deal being much better than this

      • +2

The 5600 is not a 'much better' CPU than 11400.

Also see my comment to said deal. Same price, better spec.

    • +3

Yep the 11400f was a better deal, and i probably would have bit if it was the same now (just missed out before OOS last time)

  • I wonder when the AMD Ryzen 7600 will appear in an affordable system bundle?
I guess we have to wait at least a year or two for DDR5 and AM5 mobos to see some more price depreciation before they become affordable?

  • +4

Ryzen 3600 is the deal breaker here.

It's not fair to list it as $150 for price comparison. (Ryzen 5 5500 would be better and same price)

    • +7

How is it not fair to list it at the price it is being sold at in the market? There are upgrade options available.

      • -2

being sold in the market at a given price doesn't mean people(at least the smart ones) is willing to pay that price.

    • +3

Whilst I agree about the 3600 being a deal breaker for some people the 5500 performs at best the same or often worse than the 3600 and you don't get PCIe Gen4.

The 3600 is still no slouch, about 12% slower on average in games vs. the recent 11400f build (you won't see this with the 3060Ti anyway due to GPU bottleneck) and the B550M can have the CPU upgraded in future where 11400f builds would be stuck with 11th gen.

      There are pros and cons.

  • Any ITX builds?

  • +11

Upgrade to 5600 should be $50+ instead of $120+ as the 5600 is sold for $199 mark. I cannot see any other expenses in this upgrade

    • the 3600 might be old excess stock they need to move

  • When activating Windows, I can find license keys online for $20-30 at reputable looking sellers, is there any benefit in getting the license key bundled with the computer?

    • +3

A $20/$30 licence isn't going to be legitimate unless you're getting it properly in a workplace/education/action pack/partnership - most well just activate it using a script and save yourself the 20 bucks
The licences they sell are proper retail (or idk if they're OEM licences)

      • You can still get reputable keys a bit cheaper. For example from PCWorld's Fastspring-powered online store:
        https://software.pcworld.com/

Windows Home (at AU$69) is about half the usual retail price, and Windows Pro (at AU$99) isn't bad either. I have no doubts that this is legit… I don't think IDG/FastSpring would be selling knock-off keys.

Sure, it doesn't compete with grey-market resellers offering dodgy volume-license and MSDN keys for $20 each, but it's still a decent discount for legitimate keys.

    • +2

Our keys are bought from microsoft and are genuine windows keys. When you purchase from these super cheap websites the keys may work but they may also not work/stop working after awhile

    • If you look harder you'll find software that activates for free.

  • +2

Just little info about 8G VRAM could hold your gaming back for new 2023+ games, I would rather get much cheaper AMD 6700, 6700XT, 6750XT or 12G 3060 GPU.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jxh4kfxAmY
check after 3:56 performance on Hagwarts Legacy. 6800 has 80% more fps than 3070 ti on 1440p ultra RT on (yes, 6800 beat 3070 ti by 80% when RT on if the game need more than 8G VRAM)
    or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh7kFgHe21k

    • You can always hit up their chat window when you are configuring the PC and ask for those other GPU options. Prices are reasonable too.

    • that guy hates AMD but yes the 11400f is better in many respects

  • +3

Need something like 12400F, 3060 Ti, 32GB RAM for $1200 or so thanks!
