  • I purchased $150 worth of Mirch products about a week ago. Unfortunately I still haven’t received them due to all the public holidays.
Thank you for posting about the Easter Sale. I’m signed up to their email newsletter but never received word about their sale.
Thanks to this Easter sale I’ve purchased another $150 worth of products. Evolved Details reviews on Mirch are very positive which pushed me towards them.

    • +1

Yeah it’s good stuff everything I’ve tried so far has worked well.
I just ordered 5l of blue candy to try which at $7.5 a litre is better value than even the Megiuars Gold Class specials that get posted on here.

      • I started off with the Meg Gold Class but then tried Bowden’s Nanolicious and I haven’t touched Gold Class since. I might have to try the Gold Class in my snow cannon.

    • What'd you buy?

Looking at the wheel grime cleaner and the wheel cleaner iron. 5 litre bottles

      • Just some grime off wheel cleaner and the blue candy. I only ordered a few weeks back and copped their iron decon clay lube, hulk and some hyper seal.

      • I purchased 5L of the Grime Off, Super Tyre Shine, Blue Candy and Liquid Gold. As well as as eight spray bottles, tyre brush, Canyon trigger, Gloss Wash 500ml, Detail Bliss 1L and Hydra 1L.
I’m looking forward to comparing them against the other products I have, mainly Bowden’s.

        • I knew I forgot something… I needed some more spray bottles. Oh well next time :)
Please let us know how the gloss wash is. I have used nanolicious before and quite liked it but for the price definitely not worth it.

          • @AusNugz: The Mirch bottles are fantastic value, especially with this sale. Even Oates spray bottles from Bunnings cost more and don’t use Canyon triggers.
I’m excited to compare the Gloss Wash to Nanolicious as Nanolicious is my favourite car wash. definitely agree about the price, I was lucky enough to get the 5L Nanolicious on sale. Thankfully it’s pretty concentrated and doesn’t need much per wash.

          • @AusNugz: Have you used the Hulk and Hyper Seal yet? I’m interested to hear how they compare to Bowden’s Snow Job and Happy Endings. Happy Endings is one of my favourite car care products.

            • +1

@jallen89: One litre htoer deal sold out. Better value than the 500ml, not as much outlay as the 5litre at $179.95/$134.95 in one hit

            • @jallen89: Hulk was great for foaming but not for bucket washing, despite their site saying otherwise. I was still happy with its prewash ability.
Hyper seal hydrophobics were as good if not better than happy ending. Lasted a little bit longer too.

              • @AusNugz: That’s great to know, especially about Hyper Seal. It’s a lot cheaper than Happy Ending as well.

            @AusNugz:

I needed some more spray bottles.

can't ever have enough spray bottles ;)

  • Wanted to try their stuff
However that foam cannon is out of stock, would've made it much easier to reach free shipping with it!

    • Actually the one thing I recommend buying elsewhere.
If you are keen on that foam cannon OEM version is here: https://aliexpress.com/item/1005005074674091.html
But unfortunately cannot be posted as a deal as they are just below the 95% (94.4%) positive feedback requirement.

      • weird that it won't ship to my address, but thank god for that, cause I just ordered something similar at Waxit
The bundle with a bottle of NV snow is at ~40%off, not as cheap as aliexpress obviously

        • Just the bottle by itself won't ship to Australia for some reason… the actual full cannons will.
Oh well :P The Waxit cannon looks pretty good.

          • @AusNugz: Thanks for letting me know, now I feel much better when it jumps to ~$40 for it on aliexpress!!

  • Tempted to try 5 litres of wheel cleaner. The 500ml/770ml bowdens works out expensive buying the spray bottles every time.

    • +1

Definitely worth buying in bulk if you will use it. I tend to go through a decent amount of wheel cleaner to where I think the 5 litres is worth. Especially if you have any euros at home.

You might also want to consider Grime Off if your wheels are regularly cleaned and don’t need such a reactive product, Evolved Details has a test of this stuff. Quite a bit cheaper at $52.46 https://www.mirch.com.au/products/grime-off-wheel-cleaner

      • If I remember correctly, Evolved Details said he found Grime Off to clean rims slightly better than Dragon Blood. It was his review that made me decide on Grime Off rather than Dragon Blood. Plus it works out easier just having one product to do both rims and tyres.

    • i find i'm using almost 1 of those 500ml spray bottles every time i clean all four wheels so recommend buying in bulk for something like this where you won't be diluting it.

      • Bloody hell that’s a lot of product. A bottle of Wheely Clean lasts me 4-5 cars.

        • i'm also surprised at how dirty my wheels get :\

          • @tdw: That sucks. My Suzuki Swift Sport doesn’t get much brake dust at all.
Have you tried applying a sealant to your rims?

            • +1

@jallen89: i've considered a sealant but i didn't own this car from new (it turns 18 years in a couple of weeks) so the wheels aren't in the best shape. heaps of baked-in gunk i couldn't remove even after borrowing a pressure washer.

              • +1

@tdw: I usually do a quick spray application of wet dreams or use some TW ceramic spray as a drying aid after washing my wheels to give them a bit of protection.

          • +1

@tdw: Not sure who is negging you over your dirty car wheels…

            • @AusNugz: lol yeah there's one triggered little bunny going around negging all my comments.

  • Anyone have any experience with the water spot remover?

Tempted to get it for windows in very hard water locally
