Xiaomi Yeelight Cabinet Sensor Nightlight

Main Features:
✅Easy Magnetic Suction, Perfect Corner Fill Light: No wiring and complicated installation, light up the small corners of your home with a simple suction.

✅Simple Two-Step Installation: Stick the magnetic base on the place you want to mount the lamp, then put the lamp on the base. The light bar can be removed freely and used as temporary lighting.

✅Warm Tips: Please make sure in the right position before sticking to it, for the powerful adhesive tape is disposable, which can avoid any unnecessary loss.

✅As thin as 0.9cm, High-Grade Metal Texture: Simple design, slim to 0.9cm, industrial style, blends easily into every corner of your home.

✅Intelligent Light + Human Body Sensing, No Need to Turn ON/OFF the Lights Manually: Built-in light & human body sensor lights up only in the dark environment when people come, saving power, no need to worry, easy to fetch, and hands-free.

✅Large Capacity Battery, Worry-free Use On A Single Charge: The battery capacity of the cabinet lamp is up to 1800mAh, and it can use for 4-6 months with one charge. Supporting USB-C charging, both positive and negative can be plugged in. Anti-overcharging circuit protection design, the red indicator light is on when the battery is low or the power turns on, and the green indicator light is on when it fully charges.

✅Based on induction lighting three times a day, each time for 20 seconds, calculated when the battery fully charges.

  • Got the Aldi ones for $ 7.99 few weeks back. Happy with them

    • +9

Feedbacks on battery and brightness are poor though. This is something proper.

    • -2

How about people turn on the room light

      • +8

        Ah, you must be single.

    • The aldi ones last about 2 weeks before they need charging.

  • +4

I have the shorter versions of these and they've been great.
I have one attached above my front door so it gives me light when using my keys at night.

    • I am actually looking to do something similar for my front door!

Only issue is I'm in an apartment block and feel like foot traffic going past might trigger it more than it needs to and I would have to recharge/replace batteries more often.

      • +1

Neighbours trigger mine but I bought a pack of 4. So I have two outside, one is switched to auto-trigger, the other is switched off. If the first one doesn't trigger when I get home, I just switch on the second then take the first in to charge before putting it back in the morning.

        • Oh cool. How long do you reckon the battery lasts?

          • +1

@John Kimble: I have the 20cm versions and I maybe have to swap and charge them once every 3 weeks. If you don't have neighbours constantly walking past, they will likely last longer.

      • I mean, not a real issue, is it?

        • Well, I would prefer to recharge every 6 months vs every 1 month or 2 months if possible. I just pulled those figures out of my ass, no idea what it would be.

          • +1

@John Kimble: It'll vary depending on your situation. There are tennants in my building that have to walk past my door to leave and get to their door since I'm closest to the stairs. If people don't have to walk past, you could probably make do once a month or maybe longer. That's why I keep two and have one switched off so I don't have any downtime when I have to charge.

    • +1

Where do you attach it above your door? Is it sheltered seeing as they're not weatherproof?

      • +1

I live in an apartment block, I also have a security screen door before my actual front door. The frame between them is metal and I have two of them magnetically attached there. My security screen door is usually left unlocked when I'm not home so don't need to use keys to unlock it when I get home at night.

But then you miss the fun of finding the hole.

  • I bought these last time that I use for lighting understair storage and highly rate them.

  • +1

I would love to see these types of lights with the docking stations. I feel like recharging one by one with a normal USB-C/Micro-USB cable is kinda annoying.

    • Tape a power bank next to it. Swap that out, plus it'll last far longer.

      • Mine don't charge using my Romoss power bank. I have to plug it into an AC adapter to charge.

cheers got 6 for free shipping.

  • Unfortunately no stock of the 2700K in 40cm

    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/led-light-with-sensor-42895…

I bought this for under bed with my eneloop, the best thing is the sensor with adjustable angle, sensor face out and light face down.

    • No mention of the brightness in the Kmart listing. How do you finding it, Is it bright enough?

      • For what I use it for under bed night light , it is a bit too bright, I have to use two eneloop and one old battery to dim it a bit.

  • Ever stock 60cm in 4000k??

    edit: showing stock now woohoo

  • I’m enjoying the warm tips and magnetic suction

    • You sure you're not mixing this up with a fleshlight?

      • I didn’t write the advertising blurb, so I am unable to speculate about their subliminal intentions

  • +1

Built in battery = disposable tech. So wasteful. Why can't they just have removable batteries?

    • -1

removable batteries = mega pollution to the environment if not disposed correctly

these built in battery last for decades, so how do they become disposable? the battery life is around the same as the product life, just throw it after 10 years and buy a new one

      • +2

Ozbargainer should have a lot eneloop

      • +1

The crappy lipo packs in cheap electronics are certainly not expected to 'last for decades'.

Give me AA cell space anytime and I'll throw in eneloops.

  • Thanks got it

  • any stock for the 40cm 2700k?

also seems i cant add more to the cart for quantity more than 2 for the 60cm 2700k ?

    • sold out :( for the 60cm 2700k

  • +2

Any difference between these and the xiaomi listings on aliexpress?

  • +3

OP will there be more stock of 4000k 60cm?

  • 4-6 months of battery? My 2 in the pantry last about a week or 2. I now have them both hooked up to a USB battery pack. Now it lasts a few months

    • Always on for 4-6 months?

      • nah, just motion activated

  • Does this have a switch or something?.. thinking of mounting this to the boot of a car to make it brighter during the dark….

    • What car do you have?

      • Estima Toyota

        • Have you considered adding lights like these? Search on Ali Express…I tried to link but it wouldn't let me.

AU $57.14 53%OFF | FOR Toyota PREVIA Estima ACR50 interior reading light tailgate additional light LED trunk lighting retrofit

I installed similar ones to my Honda CRV myself (took about an hour) and they work great. Mine tap into the normal boot light, so they turn on and off when you open and close the boot.
