Prices on c845 out yet?
….or the Sony x90k for similar price ?https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/sony-65-x90k-bravia-xr-full-array-led-4k-hdr-google-tv-2022
Choosing a TV is hard.
Depends if you are OK with TCL brand, mini LED and full array
I'm very happy with my 75" C835 except last Summer…
It's Okay, Winter is comming.Very hot? My Samsung oneconnect box also very hot
Mini-led TV consumes more electricity than Qled TV. It's not very hot just a little bit hotter but much better than my old TCL X7 Qled TV in every way except energy consumption.
Been much better prices/deals on these in the last few weeks.
That deal more like a price error
Its been in the $1500 range a few times, with cash backs and the like
Good deal for Sony A80K for $2276.20, 65inch.
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/sony-65-a80k-bravia-xr-ol…The 65" TCL C935 has dropped to $1480 + del at VideoPro
https://www.videopro.com.au/product/tcl-65c935-4k-mini-led-1…yeah an extra $60 would certainly be worth it. If the 75" C935 was in around $2k I'd be hitting buy now.
Where have you seen the 75"? Looking at upsizing to a 75" TV and these look bloody good.
They were previously listed on VideoPro but the 75" option seems to have disappeared now. Maybe worth calling them?
@MisterTree: Thanks.
Great TVs
Cheaper from Bing Lee now.
****in typical. A week after I give in and buy a refurbed C825.
Yous are all welcome. 😛
I bought a C835 65" and honestly I cannot recommend it enough. Compared to the LG c1 of a friend of mine, the blacks are not falling behind. The brightness is absurd, the hdr is great. 120 Hz is great for competitive console gamers. Pc gamers are in for an even better treat with 144hz. The sound is not as good as I thought it would be considering it has a built in subwoofer, but the stereo separation is pretty good. I'd recommend getting a soundbar though. For any TV, really.
Does instore match online price? Got multiple gift cards to use
honestly wasnt a fan of the 75 c835 but mine had a stuck/dead pixel.
What did you get to replace in the end?
went for the lg cs 77 oled in the end, couldn't be happier with the picture and performance should've done it in the beginning!
I had a top of the line Sony oled and sold it again, too dim for use on the weekend in daylight hours, watching sports, etc.
I pop into the shops to check out the deals nowadays, and some of the tvs around this pricepoint have become shockingly, shockingly good.
Tossing up between buying this and waiting for the C845 :/
