  There's a 2 hour free trial of this for anybody subscribed to PlayStation Plus. Might be worth a try before buy. I have played the trial and would definitely play more of it. Though I will probably keep waiting before getting this, as I have too many games to play. Also whenever I buy a new game it ends up on the subscription a week later lol.

    Specifically you need PS Plus Premium, also available on xbox for a trial as well.
    I ended up picking it up after they had a free weekend on Steam a month or so ago. I really enjoyed the game. While it's from the X-Com people the combat style is more like a Slay the Spire/Monster Train/(your other favourite card game) in a small arena instead of the x-com sweep the map, use cover and missing a shot that's 95% "hit" rated

      Thanks for this didn’t realise there was a trial on Xbox. Have been tempted for a while. After playing the trial I think it looks good, but will wait for further price drops I think.
