Uber $30 off Promo Code / Get $250 off Your First Car Hire with Uber Carshare

750
ONELESSCAR

Uber called for applications in their OneLessCar project where they will give 50 Aussies $1,300 in Uber credit to have them not use their car.

Thanks for registering your interest in Uber’s One Less Car trial. We’ve had an incredible response. Clearly the idea of a car-light life has struck a chord with Aussies and we are in the process of finalising participants.

You’ll hear from us soon, but while you wait, we’ve put together some exclusive offers as a token of our appreciation.

  • Thanks OP

  • Im confused, where can I put the promo code??

Im an existing user of uber carshare, where can I put my details?

    potentially targeted

      Wallet -> Promotions?

      • Yeah, this works

      • I put it into my uber app, it said Im not eligible

    • +1

Promo code needs to be entered on the booking page (pre hire.) It's deceptively hidden at the bottom below the payment section rather than above it. I messed that up on my last booking so couldn't use the promo.

My usual reminder: Signing up for Uber Carshare requires a credit check.

If you're interested in sharing your car on a platform like Uber, Turo, Drive Mate, etc., join the Car Sharers Australia Facebook Group

    • @exa could you please provide a link (if generic) for the $100 credit for existing users?

      • yeah I can I get that link as well please

      • Here's the link: https://ubercarshare.typeform.com/to/sqFRzFRk

        Added to the description too

        • thank you!!

I dont think Im eligible, as they asked me if I did express my interest.

What email did you use to express your interest in One Less Car?This question is required. *

and I cannot find a way to express my interest

        • I am concerned that exa may have received a scam message.

How do we know that that is a legitimate uber car share site and not a harvesting info site? The linked term and condition on the correct domain doesn't list any existing user credits….

          I'm contacting ubercarshare for confirmation.

Does anyone know if that's a valid typeform enterprise account with subdomain?

UPDATE: I checked typeform help and subdomains are on a $50/month plus plan or above. So less likely to be spam.

    1. Try to to book ride - $88 - CHECK
    2. Add promo code to wallet - CHECK
    3. Try to book ride again - $119 discounted to $89 - CHECK

    Where is the deal ?

    • I had something similar to me with an uber deal. Signed on for free two week uber one deal with half price off first ride. Checked 8am it was $45 * 50% to airport ($22.50). Awesome! But I wanted it for 8.30am. Checked at 8.30am it was now $126 with less than 50% offer making it $86. I wasn't aware you have to watch out for their demand surge pricing and the 50% offer only capped to around $40 🤔

      • Thanks. I don't have much experience using Uber. You are right, prices do change quite often, so I hope I will get a good deal next week when I will need airport transfer.

  • How does Ubercarshare compare to Goget?

    • +1

Goget own the cars, Uber uses private owned cars. Essentially they just purchased CarNextDoor.

    • +1

UberCarShare has more options, better insurance and more community driven since the fleet is all private cars.

  • yeah I don't trust uber for anything, regular car leasing is where I would go over this any day.

  • +1

All the cars seem more expensive than a regular rental..

  • If you didn’t get a $250 voucher this would make no sense. By the time you rent the car, add insurance, then factor in the cents per km (which I’m assuming isn’t covered by the $250 voucher) it really adds up. You may as well hire a normal rental.

This post is highly underrated. I added that code and got a free ride tonight. Thanks op.

  • Seriously this promo code is a joke. Previously showed $64 for a trip and now after adding the code it shows $94 is reduced to $64.

These things should be reported to Fair Trade Commission. Can't believe big companies like Uber doing such cheap things.

Update. Code actually worked when I tried after sometime.
