  • I bought the earbuds and returned it right away due to the case design. For me the lid just wasn’t well designed as it isn’t well secured meaning the buds can get lose very easily if not careful enough, and that dust can get in very easily, the glossy black also didn’t help and it will collect dust and shows smudges.

    • I have them and don't have a problem with the case. Excellent for noise cancelling and decent sound/call quality. Only downside is that when you run you hear your every step.

Use Sennheiser TWS1 for running. Returned TWS3 due to wind noise.

      • Yeah I agree the airbud itself is great it was just the case that got me returning it, a lightly flick to the lid can cause it to open so dust can get in very easily and the glossy black interal doesn't help. My cousin's unit has the same issue. The front lid just doesn't click or magnetically attach to anything. I am just nitpicking coming from an AirPod user.

Are you talking about the same earbuds? The case is matte black, not glossy.

I have these and don't have a problem with the case, although it'd be nice if it was a little smaller. The noise cancellation is better than my Sony WF1000XM4 and more comfortable to wear too.

      • The outside of the case is matte black but inside is glossy. yup woul dhave prefferred a smaller case as an airpod user.

    • No problem with the case here

  • Appreciate if anyone can share if this deal is indeed the best one thus far, i.e. worth spending the Qantas points for?

From my research, normally when buying the in-store using traditional cash/vouchers etc, the lowest price has been around $350 (do an OzB search), so the cash price ($305.70) plus 2K points is very good especially if you then get the current bonus 5K points for spending >$300, so you'd be $305.70 out of pocket and 3K points up.

If you were to compare this to getting store vouchers using QFF points, they work out to be close to 20K points per $100. So 44,270pts = ~$220 worth of vouchers. If you have Points Club Plus, you would get additional discount off that. Now everyone knows that for 44K pts you'd get better value by spending it on flights, but some people have plenty of points and don't really fly that often.

      Hope this helps.

  • Are these the ones that form a firm seal in your ear or are they ported in the back. I can’t stand the ones that seal as very noisy with pressure changes from movement

  • So delivery is extra?

Qantas Points discount: Qantas Marketplace promotional code QMARKETPLACE is valid for use on the Australian Qantas Marketplace when using only points from 12:00am (AEST) 9 March 2023 to 11:59pm (AEST) 7 April 2023. 10% discount is applied at checkout.

I used points + pay and it worked. Could not do it on my phone but it worked on my desktop.

    • How much all up after using this promo code? Including delivery

      • I saved about $35.
