T&Cs:

1. Additional Card Members must be 16 years of age or over. Additional Card Members were previously referred to as "Supplementary Card Members". The Primary Card Member will be liable to pay for all transactions made by Additional Card Members. Earning of points is subject to the terms and conditions of the rewards program the Primary Card Member is enrolled. All points earned on Additional Card Member spend will go to the Primary Card Members Account.

2. The Primary Card Member named above will receive 10,000 bonus Qantas Points when they apply for an Additional Card by 30 April 2023 through clicking on the link in this email. This offer is limited to the first approved Additional Card added. 10,000 bonus Qantas Points will be awarded to the Primary Card Member's Account 8-10 weeks after the Additional Card is approved. The Primary Card Member cannot add an Additional Card under their own name or email address. As well as they cannot add an Additional Card under the name or email address of a previously approved Additional Card application on the Account. The Primary Card Member may apply for several Additional Cards across different products, but will only receive the 10,000 bonus Qantas Points for the first approved Card. Any misuse, as reasonably determined by us, relating to your Additional Card application may result in Bonus Offers being reversed, and ineligibility from future and other promotions. This advertised offer is not applicable or valid in conjunction with any other advertised or promotional offer. This offer is only available to eligible Card Members who have received a direct invitation from American Express.

    depends on what you use the points for
    I normally rate it as 1c/point but you get better value for flights
    and less value if you use to redeem giftcards / goods

    No, there is no additional credit checks. You basically fill in a form and complete details of the new card member and that's it.

    FYI, the additional card still gets sent to your address - so keep that in mind (in case your additional card member is in another state etc).

    additional card doesn't affect credit rating, and it doesn't need to do credit check either
    additional card holder will "shared" the credit limit of the primary card holder

  Bit confused by this. Says the bonus points are for adding your first additional cardholder, but I got it on my Plat for which I already have an additional cardholder.

    I also already got an additional card, I believe the bonus will be granted to the first additional card being added during the period, regardless the number of existing additional cards already linked

  only got targeted offer on 1 velocity amex account that had 3 supp cards. all the rest of our accounts already had over 4 so i guess that's why they weren't targeted? got 10k points for the adding a 4th card after telling rep my dogs name had already been ID by amex on another old amex supp card for another amex account and they accepted that fact. after getting the points i have now cancelled another supp card bringing down total back to 3 so im more likely to be targeted for the next promo. my question is if i use the same link on the email can i add another supp on one of my Qantas accounts instead which is under the same log on profile as the velocity card to get another 10k?
