They were set during 'inglationgate' and now we are rapidly approaching 'recessiongate' so there will be a correction on some moving forward.
Yeah, I was wondering if they were adopting the 'Katmandu-model' of intentionally over-pricing everything so you can then offer it at a reduced price to make it look like a bargain.
My main gripe with Lego is that they implemented these price rises at a time they posted record profits. And Australia seemed to have the highest Lego price rises, whereas US barely increased at all.
The rest of the world subsidises the US LEGO market.

So anyone order and actually get theirs shipped yet? I ordered when this post first came out and mine is still in 'processing'. I can only assume someone is calling every store manually checking for stock lol.
I purchased one of each and received an email cancellation today for the Avatar Toruk Makto and another email that the other item Avatar Floating Mountains has been despatched.
Target and Kmart are notorious for cancellations and poor inventory system.
It depends on your location . Most likely they are in East Coast Metro zones and those people get priority. They don't want to ship to remote locations .
I have Soul Tree only alive for $100 .
I'm not sure at that price . $80 a no brainer hit .
