[eBay Plus] $10/$25/$50 Voucher for Eligible Members After Nominated Monthly Spend @ eBay Australia

230

If you missed out on this $10 voucher at eBay then you might be eligible for the Spend and be Rewarded - Plus Promotion instead. Check you Plus accounts and emails for an invitation.

Special Note: After careful reading of the T&Cs it looks like this one works a bit differently. You will receive a nominated spend threshold in your invitation email which you need to spend over the month before the voucher is awarded - up to 10 transactions are allowed. Various minimum spend amounts have been reported in the comments already:

T&C:

  1. Acceptance. By redeeming or attempting to redeem the Voucher, you agree to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Offer Period. The offer will only be available from 10:00 (AEDT) on 1 April 2023 and is available for a limited time only, for as long as advertised on the eBay.com.au site (“Offer Period”). eBay reserves the right to cancel the offer at any time.
The promotion resets every 31 days starting 1 April 2023 until the end of the Promotion Period (each referred to as a “Cycle”).
  3. Eligibility. This offer is available to Eligible Users (“You”). You are eligible for this promotion if you have:
    an active eBay Plus membership;
    received an email invitation from eBay to participate in this promotion (“Email Invitation”);
spent your personalised amount by the offer end date shown in your most recent email invitation from eBay.
  4. Conditions. This offer entitles Eligible Users to an eBay voucher (“Voucher”) valued at $10 when they spend the amount stated in their most recent Offer Email. A limit of 1 Voucher per Eligible User applies. The User of the Voucher is subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

Use of the Voucher

  1. Voucher Issue. The Voucher will be issued to your eBay account 5 days after the offer end date shown in your most recent Email Invitation.
  2. Voucher Expiry. The Voucher is valid from the date of issue for 30 days (“Validity Period”).
  3. Voucher Conditions. The Voucher entitles you to $10 off the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $50 or more on Eligible Items during the Validity Period. You may purchase up to 10 items per transaction.
“Eligible Items” means items listed on eBay.com.au where a link to these terms and conditions and your unique Voucher code is found in the item listing.
  4. Redemption. To redeem the Voucher, enter the code displayed in your “My eBay” page into the redemption code box during the checkout process. The code cannot be used in conjunction with any other eBay offer, coupon or voucher. You can only use the code once during the 5. Validity Period. The code is provided to you as an eBay User and the limitations on its usage apply on that basis even though you may have registered a number of different eBay User IDs.

  • I got Spend and be Rewarded #2 - Plus Promotion $25 for $200 min …

    • Interesting - it looks like they're spreading various thresholds amongst members. Have you bought much recently? I've been making regular purchases, but not much of high value.

This is looking a lot like the variable Flybuys promotions where it's going to be different spend minimums but still work back to a base rate.

      • It in my seller promotions wtf. Spent like $300 and sold around $200

        • Mine was in an eBay message but didn't pop up in my Seller promotions.

  • Spend and be Rewarded #3 - shop $500 before 01/05 to receive a $50 voucher

    • +1

Simply activate this personalised offer & shop $750 before 01/05 to receive a $50 voucher

    • Thanks - post updated.

BTW, what is the minimum spend in order to use your voucher once it's awarded? Mine was $50.

    • +1

LoL I got $50 for $1210 spend, weird number.

      • HAHAHHAHA

        • Your impersonation of the joker ?

  • Both of mine suck. $990/$540 spend for a $50 voucher that has a $500 minimum spend. Hilarious.

They must base it on something, maybe how much you have spent recently? I have activated mine but will put no effort into trying to get it.

    • Do you spend a lot on eBay? I thought mine was bad at $300. Unless I buy PC parts I don't think I'll be getting anywhere near $300.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I did buy a rather expensive appliance a few months ago. Something like that would definitely get me over my threshold.

      • I would say steady. For my main buying account I only spent ~$250 in March and was hit with the $990 spend, for my main selling account I spent ~$300 and got the $540.

        • That's pretty random. They should have the rewards on a slight sliding scale. Reward those people that spend more by giving them a chance to get more back.

$50 for $500 spend for me.

Thanks, everyone, for posting your thresholds. I've put them all into the post for clarity and anyone following along at home.

  • I got spend $300 for a $25 voucher.

  • Nothing for me on both my accounts with ebay plus.
Didn't get the $10 code you mentioned either

    • you pay for ebay plus twice?

      • Two accounts yes.
One I got the $80 voucher for singing up for a year.
The other is my main selling account.

But I have ebay plus on both mostly to make the most of their zero final value fee deals.

$570 spend for $50 voucher with $500 spend. Absolutely egregious promotion.

I haven’t received an email or message on my eBay plus account.. targeted?

  • +1

$395 spend for a $25 voucher, AND that voucher has a minimum $200 spend on it 😂 I wonder how the algorithm works to come up with these thresholds

  • The last voucher like this couldn’t be used on most things so I just abandoned it

  • Feel like eBay is judging my spending habits - $50 for $1260 spend, can anyone beat that?

  • +5

    this is pathetic

    • I saw the email this morning and didn't think to post about it. OP's offer is definitely worth it. Most others I've seen have been pretty terrible.

  • Probably a dumb one, how do I check what's the offer I have?

    • Look for an email with "Wayne, score a $X* voucher."

  • $580 before 01/05 to receive a $50 voucher

    $10 voucher when spend $50

  • $830 for $50 for me

  • Looks like I've got the worst so far, spend $1480 to get a $50 voucher with a $500 min spend! I do buy a lot with this account, but jeez that's a bit to spend in a month!

    • Ridiculous lol

  • $0 for $0 for me

  • checked and double checked - no offer here. Must be targeted.

  • Yes, eBay have jumped the voucher shark for me with this one. Target spend PLUS high minimum spend on the voucher = CBF

Save big, thanks to eBay Plus. Simply activate this personalised offer & shop $550 before 01/06 to receive a $50 voucher,* just for you.

My email is the same value and spend as last months. $300 for $25 voucher.

I just activated and noted the start date is tomorrow (00:00 04/05/2023). I would have thought I could have start buying immediately, but will wait just to be sure.

  • just received my voucher

Mantra, your $50 voucher* is here

    didn't expect these terms

*Expires 05/06/23. Min spend $500. 1 txn per code.

was the minimum spend made clear enough, think i got $580 before 01/05 to receive a $50 voucher confused with $500 minimum spend of April

my bad… anything i've ever bought with $500 minimum spend already has a voucher offering greater value than $50 discount, unfortunately vouchers don't stack and jack never rears his ugly head during those 20% off promos on anything i've ever looked at

    Use of the Voucher
Voucher Conditions. The Voucher entitles you to $50 off the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $500 or more on Eligible Items during the Validity Period. You may purchase up to 10 items per transaction.

looks pretty clear and i cannot read

    • I just looked at the T&Cs for my offer and it’s similar (seen at point no. 7):

Voucher Conditions. The Voucher entitles you to $10 off the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $50 or more on Eligible Items during the Validity Period. You may purchase up to 10 items per transaction

$10 off $50 min spend is pretty good, but it’s a swiftly diminishing return as it goes higher.
