    Made 4 orders. All 4 deducted money from Paypal but only 3 orders in order history and 2 received emails.

    Pizza order didn’t go through to store.. but money taken and took screenshot of order number. Grr. Waiting for them to make it now…

    Was having issues with Paypal so made 3 Google pay orders instead

    A bit disappointing. Made one order for a pepperoni pizza and another order for 6 wings but only received a confirmation email for the wings. Went to the store and sure enough they only had the wings ready for pick up. The pizza order didn't go through even though I got charged for it. Paid via PayPal and clicked through the ShopBack app separately

    3 order with PayPal no tracking yet. Over half an hour. Still waiting for them to make pizza which apparently did t go through..

  • Sorry ShopBack doesn't work as smooth as Cashrewards. Placed 2 orders only one received email for confirmation, money taken out for both and no tracking, nearly 1 hour now.

    • What so no one wants to pick up their orders until the tracking goes through? Can't you just put in a claim, they would still charge you yeah..

      Be better if it was Domino's, pizza hut is awful. Then again doms shrinking their pizzas again and not worth the money either these days..

      • Pizza Hut is better than Domino's when ingredients are fresh and care is taken during preparation. Unfortunately 9/10 stores fail on these basic things..

        • True. Thats why they are 'cheap' fast food and the majority of youngsters working there wouldn't particularly care but comes down to the individual store I guess.

          Domino's has certainly gone downhill, that and the price rises. Pizza hut just seems like all bread even with the classic crust.

    How can I cancel the pizza hut order for a pre-order ? Their customer service line is really irritating: the waiting is forever. The order record on the system does not contain any info about the past orders.

    Major system problem at many Pizza Hut outlets. Money taken but order not appearing in their system. Poor staff are all scrambling. No email. No tracking. ShopBack not gonna have a fun time ratifying all the potentially missing cashback….

  • Fantastic, internal error upon hitting 'Order', had a spastic episode and threw me back to the cart (with nothing in it) and the money was taken out of card….

    Edit: Did another one and it seemed to have worked. Figured I might as well have 2 for the price of 1 (Pasta), still not great that money came out of my account and Pizza Hut (or ShopBack) did an internal error and threw a spastic

      • In case you or anyone else is still wondering, GYB has said somewhere in this thread app is less complicated to track and PayPal is most reliable method (although any is fine).

    Fantastic. All 3 just tracked now including the pizza which apparently didn’t go through. Bloody good spicy veg they made too.

    • Did you end up receiving an email from pizza hit for them?

      • No. 2/3 emails received. Go to store and they will tell you not there. Show them your screenshot or payment receipt and they will make it,10 min wait.

        • I only have PayPal app showing payment… Didn't screenshot anything else cause I figured it was fine lol

              @pennypincher98: Head office don't even respond to complaints. I really hate Pizza Hut as a company and most stores churn out absolutely awful pizzas. There is zero customer service. I had a hell of a time trying to get a $10 refund when bought ice creams, only to turn up to store and find they were out of stock. Took weeks and countless emails to get a refund..

              • @nubzy: Never actually had the pleasure of ringing head office, the main time I had an issue like this it was with a free pizza coupon and I just cut my losses. Sounds like I made the right decision, shocking they can't provide any service.

                Also agree that a lot of their stores aren't great. Their Rouse Hill store has the record for the worst takeout I've ever had. There are some good stores though hidden amongst the shit

              @pennypincher98: nah, it's useless. tried it before, no one answers 13 11 66 though it does sometimes connect you to the store direct.
              complaints on FB messenger are the usual canned responses.
              leaving negative reviews on Google maps etc are pointless, they're already 2.5 stars hahaha.

              pizza hut is only worth a bit of effort when they run these 100% offers, not even the 50% offers are worth the trouble.

                @rezgad: Exactly my thoughts. I only take a gamble on 100% cashback orders. Would never set foot in Pizza Hut otherwise, grubby stores with poor product and non existant customer service. The store I got the pizza from tonight is a fairly new one, had mixed experiences, but tonight they did well and were happy to make the pizza after I showed screenshot.

                • @nubzy: damn straight, I dunno if my memory is off but when Dominos used to do something similar, I recalled them being way better. It's still one of the large chains so meh quality, but heaps better than PHut

    I ordered 2x individual, separate orders for the same pick-up time.

    Click-history shows both orders were tracked,
    but only 1x order shows "Pending Cashback" (within 10-minutes or order)
    and the 2nd order has not appeared under 'Cashbacks' yet…

    …and it's only been 5+ minutes so far.

    PS:
    Only HUT5130 worked for me.
    SAVE50 and HUT6366 did not work.

  • Silly question but can the order be under $10 and you still get $10 cashback?

      $10 cap, meaning if your order was $6 you would get $6 back.

      It's 100% cashback, not $10 cashback. If your order is $5, you get $5 cashback

    • No.

      Any amount under $10 will be 100% cashback.
      $10 is the maximum cashback.

      Examples:

      $5 spend, will get you $5 cashback.
      $7.85 spend will get you $7.85 cashback.

      $10 spend, will get you $10 cashback.

      $12.48 spend, will get you $10 cashback.
      $18.63 spend, will get you $10 cashback.

          So, are you saying, that cashback is only the non-GST amount, which is returned to us?

          This means, the Government is collecting the full GST amount of the transaction.

    Tracking for this one may be slightly delayed due to volume, so hold out for that for their window (2 days) and don't stress. I've flagged that Pizza Hut are having tech issues on our end so our team can stay on it with Pizza Hut and investigate for more info come Monday.

      • I got the regular Bolognese and it tasted like something you'd buy in the freezer aisle of Coles, not sure if the others are better

        It's not inedible, I'll still have it for lunch tomorrow but it's the price of a pizza and not that big either..

    Warning to all with the website being wonky - order went through on website, got the reference #'s on webpage, card was charged but no email received. Depending on your luck, going to the store with the reference # is not enough. They need to see a confirmation email. No email, no order.

    It's highly dependent on your luck if the staff are nice or rude when they refuse to provide you with your order.

    • Managed to argue (with my screenshots of the successful orders and my bank account being hit with the charges) to get my missing large pizzas. Very annoying. 25 minutes of arguing.

      • kudos to you….had our toddler with us, wasn't going to argue for $10. just gonna get my money back and leaving a neg review is pointless, that pizza hut already has a very low score lol

    Finally ordered for tonight.
    5 Pizza Hut pick up order confirmations immediately.

    No PayPal Email or tracking email.
    However, screen shots of everything for evidence.

      Hopefully pick up is smooth in an hour.

    Got cashback confirmed for 2 out of 3 , waiting on the 3rd one as I get it's a busy night for both pizza hut and shopback!

  • I'm not happy. Ordered at 5.15 for a 6 pm pick up. No pizza hut email, no confirmation, no nothing. Paypal shows the pending amount. Arrived at the store I was told their system doesn't show my order, I had to order at the counter again and I felt like my 11 dollars is down the drain already.

      You paid so they need to provide the goods. I never let any company get away with something like that. Either they refund me on the spot or provide the goods, and don't take anything else for an answer.

      The store I got mine at tonight was confused, but he went out the back and asked if I can wait 8 mins which I was happy to do. I had screenshot showing the order confirmation page (but I did not get an email).

  • I'm not sure why every1 wants to pick up tonight during peak bonus time . I'm looking at my itinerary and will try to multi task the pick ups . All the $9.95 ice creams are mine :)
