  • So I can use a 716W device for 1 hour?

  • +1

4 years warranty I believe, which is great.

A tad annoying it only has the max 200w input.

  • Am i completely wrong, or am I somewhere in the ballpark if I was to say that a 100ah LiFePo4 battery has approximately 1400Wh capacity? Or even more? So twice the capacity of this Bluetti?

    • 100ah 12v is generally classed as 1280Wh

I think these all-in-one units have their place in the market, good for car/tent camping, good portability… but for a 4x4-camper or campervan setup buying individual components makes more sense IMO, at least when one part fails you can replace just that, you dont have to throw the whole lot away,,, ….

      • Yeah I agree.

And thanks for the info on the 100ah battery! I thought because the 100ah LiFePo4's seem to be fully charged at 14v or more (or is that wrong too, I'm learning here 😅) that its like 100ah x 14v = 1400 Wh but i think I'm getting everything wrong hehe

        • +2

They class the nominal voltage for LiFePO4 as 12.8v. (4 x 3.2v cells).. After charging they don't stay at the charge voltage for long, i.e. 13.3v is 90%…

716 Wh is the battery capacity. When you convert to 240v AC you get 15% less because of inverter losses and internal running circuitry.

It's a good price for what it is. I bought it for the occasional camping trip. By the time you buy a 54Ah lithium battery ($400) a 1000W inverter ($140), a DC-DC charger with solar charger ($300), cables, connectors and installation (few hundred more $$$) It starts getting expensive for the occasional camp trip.

This has the same capacity as the OLD 100Ah AGM deep cycle battery ( AGM can only discharge to 50% or it can damage battery)

  • Great unit apart from two issues
*200w DC input is on the small side and
    * It requires an AC brick for charging (not integrated)

Does anybody know I'd you can DC and AC charge at the same time??

    • Yeah, I recall seeing a hack on YouTube ages ago. They got it close to 400W

      • If you can share the link that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a bit on the fence between this or the ecoflow delta. I like that this has passthrough capability so it should minimise the power waste during the day when you have solar connected.

        • It was for the EB55. Too messy anyway https://youtu.be/_7l8hoNebDY?t=321
The Ecoflow Delta is in a different price range and only good for 800 charge cycles. Fast charging would be great, though.

    • No. Has single charge port at 8A 12-26V port. Max of 200W charge rate at Max 8A.
It has an external bit noisy power brick.
