INTRODUCING THE EU30IS

ECONOMIC AND RELIABLE

The EU30is also features an Eco-throttle which adjusts the engine speed to meet the load demand. This increases fuel economy whilst also reducing noise as the engine is not required to run at full capacity unnecessarily.

It features a microcomputer-controlled sinewave inverter that guarantees commercial-quality electricity – ideal for use with frequency-sensitive electrical equipment such as computers.

And just like all Honda generators, the EU30is starts first time, every time with convenient electric start and recoil start back-up.

PERFORMANCE & PEACE OF MIND

The EU30is is whisper-quiet, operating from 52dB(A)*/65dB(A), and at only 59kg, is one of the lightest generators in its class.

It runs on unleaded fuel so you’ll never have to mix oil and petrol again. Environmentally friendly, the EU30is emits lower emissions & less noise, and uses less fuel than its competitors.

The engine is protected via a low oil alert system, and it will give you up to 20* hours of continuous operation on a full fuel tank.

HONDA'S WORLD-RENOWNED TECHNOLOGY

The generator is Parallel Connection capable. This feature allows two EU30is' to be quickly and easily linked using a special parallel connection cable to double your output to 6Kva.

With electric-starting and enough power to be used in a wide range of home, recreational and professional uses, the EU30is incorporates all of Honda's portable power technology.

With 12 Amp/12 Volt DC and a maximum of 3000W/240 Volt AC, the EU30is can run appliances and charge batteries simultaneously.

WARRANTY

Honda's comprehensive warranty structure covers the EU30is for 4 years (domestic) and 1 year (commercial).

You're also backed by a network of more than 450+ authorised dealers across Australia.

You'll never be alone with a Honda EU30is Generator. When you're after reliable power, it's the best choice you can make.

INTRODUCTION
It also uses a high-speed multi-point alternator that is integrated into the engine itself. This Honda developed technology reduces the overall weight and size by 25% to 50% compared to similarly classed conventional models, making it very portable

GENERATORS
Designed and built with user convenience and environmental impact in mind, Honda generators feature advanced four-stroke engines for strong performance and fewer emissions

Honda's four-stroke engines eliminate the need to mix fuel and oil, which saves time and money. They also provide superior fuel efficiency and emit significantly less carbon and noise than most of their two-stroke counterparts

Perfect for charging your Tesla while driving.

  • Wow I knew Honda generators were exxy but $3779? Surely you good a massive battery pack and solar set up for less than that.
Seems like the price jumped the shark some time ago

    • If one of these lasts 10 to 20 years it’s not so bad. You can get way cheaper generators but Honda have earned a good reputation so they’re relying on that to sell these.

Idk how they compare but GenTrax are a cheaper brand I’ve seen while looking at generators

      • Fair enough - question is : how much longer will we be using petrol?

        • +2

I’d bet that it’s more than the next 20 years lol

          • @NuttyGoodness: Oh sure it will be available but there will come some point where it will be bad value probably.

OP, justify this as an OzBargain. As opposed to just a free advert for a product you want to sell.

This is a very good alternative. Made by Loncin which is a name brand in China.

Same as this one with excellent reviews - https://www.harborfreight.com/generators-engines/generators/…

    • Well spotted. The harbour freight predator generators are well liked by the Americans

    • This is a very good alternative. Made by Loncin

No one with the smallest knowledge of small engines would consider a Loncin if they are looking at Honda. You have cheap junk clone made with cheap junk parts that are guaranteed to fail, vs a quality product respected by all.

The Loncin will be fine-good in the short term, but it will have problems, they always do as they use far cheaper materials that just can't last.

  • Would be a nice fallback measure for a 98% off grid setup.

Q: are you even allowed to go off grid once a meter is connected?

  • Greek dads everywhere converging on Hampton as we speak.

  • I have the Yamaha EF2800i, similar to this Honda. Very good and outputs higher maxxed out than this one if needed (i.e. for compressor startups etc). This one is slightly quieter. Over $1k cheaper.

How much is this 'deal' saving? The prices above seem like bs 'RRP' marketing strategy imo since this is 'introducing'…..

    • How is the RRP from the offical Honda Aus website BS???????????????????????
