Confused why you upvoted it.
because it is a good deal. Giving the product the benefit of the doubt that I was just unlucky with mine.
Contrary to the above, I've had one for 6 months and it's going great, battery above expectations.
Sound is, lacklustre but not noticeable for calls or while exercising outdoors.
Is it worth paying extra for the higher models, or are they all fairly similar?
Can't comment on sound quality but one significant advantage of these over the higher models is that they charge directly with USB-C instead of proprietary connector.
Have had these for nearly a year so far and no issues. I don't like things in my ears so these were perfect. I often keep them on all day since it doesn't obscure your hearing and they're pretty inconspicuous if your hair isn't too short.
despite the sound quality not being great, these are the headphones I find myself reaching for more often. You can wear them all the time and they're non-intrusive. You don't need to take them off your ear whenever someone talks to you. They're great for passive background noise in the office or day-to-day.
Anyone found decent alternatives to Shokz? Must still be bone conduction.
I have no experience with this, and I was actually just looking around yesterday, but came across the 'Creative Outlier Free Pro'
Have a look at Techradar: https://www.techradar.com/news/best-bone-conduction-headphon…
I have the older Trekz Air and I find them fantastic for being able to hear what is goingon around me while walking/biking to work.
Obviously your mileage may vary, but had 2 of these before and both were faulty after a few months of use. 1st one don't charge anymore, 2nd one simply does not turn on at all.
