this is not a good game in case anyone was wondering, it's very "unreal engine tech demo" vibes. the robot creatures are cool though.

This is one of those games that people either love or hate. Dialogue is very cringey, mobs tend to respawn a lot in the open world. If you can look past that, you might enjoy the game. Check out your favourite YouTube reviewer's take on the game — Skill Up felt that the game had more misses than hits, but he seems to be in the minority as a lot of reviewers like the game.

It plays very well and good storyline so far.
Yes, it is "Russian Bioshock" but throw in Fallout 4 (upgradable weapons and skills trees and pip-boyish animations etc) - about 50-50 between those games and that's probably as good of a descriptive.
I bought it for PC because I loved bioshock so much, but the combat is janky.. I kind of regret it.
Then again, I haven't gotten any weapon besides the wrench.. I mean axe yet.

ALSO: It's not well optimised, I doubt it'll be smooth on a series S, on my RTX 3070 1080P [max settings] it has weird frame drops even though it doesn't look as good as other recent games

I didn't know it was coming out on PC Game Pass.. otherwise I probably would have saved on buying it as well. Oh well.
I'm running it perfectly fine on my three year old Dell G7 7700, and runs absolutely fine on my HANDHELD GPD Win Max 2 (with Ryzen 7 6800u onboard graphics). Not sure what your hardware problem is - though the only "problem" I had was when I bought it on release and was NOT optimised for Ultra Wide screens (for my 49"). They have since patched it to allow a better selection of FoV, but not perfect though.
What a disappointing game after all the hype. I felt ripped off playing it for free on Game Pass.
Played on game pass and enjoyed it immensely. Only let down is the dialogue can really get cringey and annoying. The gameplay is quite unique and the twins are sumthin' else.
Can't support fascist developers who are happy at Ukrainian genocide no matter the price.
It's not politics it's fact. Money from this whether you purchase or use game pass go to the investors behind it who are gazprom.

I enjoyed it Prey meets Wolfenstein without being as good as either, gamepass option is your best bet if not a PS gamer.
Perfect Game Pass game for me. I got to play through the intro which I really enjoyed and now I don't feel guilty for not sinking another 20 hours into it!
I was looking forward to playing this… but now I think they should have called it Atomic Fart.
Really good game pass game, enjoyed the qte and storyline and the voice over is not too bad, ending is shite though.
