yep, looks to be low profile switches as well.
Any user reviews pls?
Wondering same
honestly, a lot of the keyboards for this price range have the same qualities, terrible 3rd party crapware to remap keys/macros/control lighting etc, hollow plastic case, thin keycaps and non-hotswappable cheap outemu/generic switches.
If you like low profile switches/keycaps, might be good for you. If you want to get something to get into mechanical keyboards, I would probably spend a bit more on a better keyboard with better features (hotswap, 5pin support, easy to take apart, layout, better mounting system etc).
a quick search on model seemed to indicate it is one of those finicky line-of-sight "bluetooth" devices
previous manufacture?
Username checks out.
Good price but all these cheap boards use the same ugly font on the keys.
I bought it cause it was cheap. It ticks most of the checkboxes for me except it isn't black. It has dedicated arrow keys, red switches (most cheapo ones have blue), dual mode and is low profile (which to me is more ergonomic). Lets see how it goes.
Edit: the reviews on Amazon seems like they are for another board that has circular buttons. I wonder which keyboard will I be getting.
Potentially neither :D
Can you let us know what you think of the keyboard once you got it? Its pretty cheap, im tempted.
we'll do. Amazon says I will get it in 3 days.
Just got it delivered on a Sunday. Boy those amazon peeps do overtime. I can report I got the advertised one with the square buttons. Yeah!. The metal body is magnesium alloy not aluminum, so it has a plastic feel. Although it is sturdy and doesn't flex at all. The stabilizer rattle is also not too bad. The backlight effects are not overly done/bright and can be turned off. It also comes with a 2m braided white cable which is a pleasant surprise.
After using cherry MX blacks and membrane keyboards for around 18 years it feels comically light to type on, to the point of making type-o often.
Only issue so far is I had problems trying to pair this up with my PC in BT1, so had to use BT3. This is so far, hands down the best keyboard I ever owned (only other mechanical board I owned was a noopoo choc). lets see how it holds up over time. It definitely gets a thumbsup from me for $30.
After using it for a bit I find the BT cuts off frequently. Then I have to plug the usb cable in and out for it to connect again or repair. This would be bothersome to use as wireless imo. I have no such issues in wired mode.
@cmanc: I switched it to a random $3 BT dongle I had lying around and that seems to fix the issue with connectivity. The one I was using before (Baseus brand) should've also been BT 5 compliant. Im also curious to see how long the keycaps keep there lettering.
I would return it if I receive the round keycap.
guys, i'm after an all-in-one kinda keyboard for retro computing. amazon has the vilros but the reviews aren't that good. kinda would like to have a keyboard with the raspi inside and sd card on the side to load different OS's. any ideas?
(i know about the raspi 400, it's just i akready have a raspi 4 i'd like to use) thx.
Perfect. Got a spare low profile keycap at home and this will be a ok board to use it ok. Bought one. Only red switch on both pink and silver model is 50% off. Rest of the line is not onsale.
69 Keys
that's the niiiicest number of keys for a keyboard ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I don't know who would downvote this comment one of the selling features for sure!
I believe these are low profile keycaps so the switches may not be your standard mechanical switches
