I have this, and it's no good for inflating balls to a desired/specified PSI with any degree of accuracy. The airflow is way too fast for that task, and the pressure gage 'jumps about' is not accurate enough. For car tyres it's OK, but for balls it is not.

And Tom Brady has entered the chat.

    • How good is this for car tyres? How long u had it for?

I've had it for more than a year (maybe 2 years?), and for car tyres it's fine/quick, although I've never needed to pump one up from completely flat. It seems akin to the speed you can pump them up at at the servo, and at reasonably high pressures the gage is accurate/steady enough. It's very large for the task though. I would not by it again. Instead I'd buy a cordless one, with a digital gage, that could pump at variable (including low) speeds.

Note; there is no indication on the box or in any picture or anywhere else, but this unit is corded (it has no battery, and needs to be plugged into the mains).

    Price matching the Aldi offering

    • Let's all buy aldi then
I tend to dislike bunnings for this reason

  • 8 bar is around 115 PSI in case anyone else was wondering.

  • Anyone know if this would be powerful enough to get tubeless tyres onto bicycles rims?

  • Had one and returned it. either mine was faulty or not very good. Extremely loud and took ages to inflate a car tyre for a small hatchback.
