Red Rooster have answered KFCs box with a better offering imo.
2 pc fried chicken + chips for $5. If you've still got your "P plates" you can get a third piece free :D
Only until 4pm, not available in airports.

Do you often eat an entire Coles chicken at the food court during lunch break?
Nope, If you are going to TA then coles is better value. More protein.
And cooking your own roast chicken is better value still.
I can actually see the benefit of different use cases though so I didn't suggest something so asinine. Who would've thought a supermarket was better value than a fast food outlet and cooking something is better value than precooked?
@Switchblade88: Sure if you pick out the most expensive chicken Coles sells to the cheapest BBQ roast chicken. Wow no wonder people have trouble saving in these times lol.
@Switchblade88: Yeah it is actually around $3.50 you save a kilo. Even more when they're on special. Took you a while but I think you're starting to get a hang of how pricing works.
Now for the advanced level, each $3.50 a kilo you save can be used for other things or get this, you can put it in an account to make more money! How crazy is that!
@Switchblade88: Commenting on ozbargain anything remotely negative about the big giants like KFC, RR MCD etc. has now become crime and the neg army will come for you. Or even throwing in a random suggestion or an alternative has become blasphemy.
I did not even say this was a bad deal and I got neged like crazy.
@Iluvfreebies: You suggested paying more than double for a supermarket chicken on a fast food chicken and chips deal available for lunch (not dinner!)
It's like suggesting going for a run instead (it's free!) on a gym post, or saying to get a 2L soft drink instead of a can (because more value) While it's true, it's a different usage case and by clicking on this deal most people will have already accepted the convenience trade off.
Likewise, saying it is healthier to air fry your own chicken is unhelpful as they're already aware and have made this trade off.
Shut up and take my money
Quarter chicken and chips with some stuffing on request is usually $4.95.
If only they also had like kfc with the $4.95 spend for free chips and drinks 😆
Think thats finished with KFC now?
Either way your rite.
Not entirely, free 600ml drink with KFC survey no chips. Means you can get an iced tea though :)
Roger rubber ducky. Cheers.
I guess it’s store dependent plus if they got the memo ? Lol I guess my local one hasn’t received it yet coz I still show the same old code I’ve had for 3 years haha
And also I still get the free chips and drinks too :) and on some days I get even luckier and I get the 600ml drink and large chips #winning
Still have a few of codes.
They were giving large chips and 1.25L drink to me when i got a burger box
Their fried chicken is barely edible !!
💯% agreed
Hey OP, I posted this previously https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/730062. No love for my deal?
Sorry but that expired November last year. I forgot it even existed. I would've credited you if I used your exact format/wording but I found this on the Red Rooster app.
I'm just pulling your chicken wing!
Its "pulling your drumstick" or "have a chicken bone to pick with you"
@easternculture: It depends on your culture
@unity1: In my culture we like the chicken breast
@easternculture: Only the best. I agree.
I wish red rooster did the flayva wrap in a box meal. Id probably go there if they did.
You can order the rippa box and ask to replace with a Flayva
Hot Honey changed my life 🙏
Can you get hot honey for this deal? If so I might have to grab one tomorrow
Lol that moment the WA deal is the same thing, just with different terminology. $5 crunch box vs $5 fried & chips
Just seeing this deal & perplexed "excludes WA". Wondering if all of the chickens are over east? LOL.
Lol yeah clicked the link and thought it refreshed the page, then noticed the terminology difference
I thought WA still had Turkey Treat instead of Red Rooster?
I havnt had RR or much take away i.e. KFC and i really didnt rate this much above eatable. Chicken wasnt crunchy or nice.
That said it was $5.
