my local aldi was selling boys and girls birthday card 5-packs for $1. bought the lot (9). my kids are invited to so many parties and I am sick of paying at least $1 if not $3 for cards which are glanced at momentarily before the gift wrapping is torn apart in something akin to a feeding frenzy.
