@destiper: Usually about 6 months but if it’s your main number u might want to recharge early as i recently found out I was missing some MMS because I have no data so those MMS are lost forever even if you recharge a bit later. I was mainly using iMessage so didn’t think I need data.

      • This flexibility does not apply to Kogan. They have incoming restrictions after 20 days of expiry.

    • Up to 6 months.

Existing Boost customer eligible for cashback?

  • +1

    New customer only ?

    • New sim purchase and activation only.

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Profit is profit.

  • +1

Is it actually possible to activate more than 3? Dosent accept my ID after the 3rd activation/month

  • Is this the biggest profit ?

    • and tracked within 1 min too

      Anyway bought another one now,

two this time, (or more may be )

    • +1

It's not the size of the profit that matters, it's how you use it.

      • This is currently my high yield investment after lost all money with SVB!!

      • Meaning?

      • +2

We should seriously build a Wiki on how to “profit” from a new mobile number, stuff like getting free burritos etc.

  • Can anyone please share what's the best way to keep my boost number and get cashback from this new sim? Current plan expires in 15 days

    • port out your number to another carrier like amaysim, then go back to boost

  • +2

Has anyone come across good numbers yet? I got one that was made of only three distinctive numbers, pretty dope, gonna use it as my main when it expires (too much spam).

    • +1

Once i had a number in the format of 04aa bcc ddd - thought that was quite interesting already.

Bought enough to use from last week, but this one is too good to pass :s

      • That is a good number!

Haha same here. Already bought two at the previous highest profit, now this pops up…

  • +1

Presume you don’t need to put sim in phone to activate. I have a message saying mine will be activated within 4 hours but I don’t want to put the sim in the phone is that ok (this is for an earlier deal)

    • Correct. No need to put it into phone.

I was about to downvote this but just wanted to check before if we have any Boost rep here on Ozb? Care to explain why many people can't place an order? I haven't ordered any sims in the past 2 years but still can't order and keep getting that sorry a$$ error message every time.

    • Don't bother. Refer here for rep response

      • +1

Well, I've tried everything mentioned in the rep's response but to no avail. Contacting their support didn't help either as they have no idea what could go wrong.

        • +2

I'm having the same problem. Haven't been able to make an order for the last few promos, this one included.

          • @kuwahshi: Try deleting your cache and having another go. Also try in Incognito. I've participated in these numerous times and only had once where I couldn't complete the purchase. I was advised to try those methods via chat and it worked next go.

  • +1

Thanks OP, I have too may sims to use from previous deals still…

    • arent they expired within one month of purchase?

      • +1

The sims themselves dont expire till next year but you do need to activate it within a month of purchase to claim cashback (even though I've activated it after a month and still gotten the cashback confirmed). I do however keep track of every sim I purchase and activate it within the month.

        • so if you not looking for cash back you can still get this sim for $9 and activate anytime?

          • +1

@LegoLexus: Yes they have a one year expiry.

            • @umoddbro: thanks!

              • +1

@LegoLexus: Just be aware to read the T&C's of the deal because sometimes any bonus data is tied to activating within a certain timeframe (usually 28 days). That's if you care about any bonuses.

How do show as “new customer” all the time - different email addresses?

    • Do you have to do this for each one?

      • No, people being using same email for boost deals - me included. I have about 4-5 inactive numbers in my Boost account (which under 1 email).

Edit: Just ordered a 6th sim, all tracked from CB after got confirmation from Boost.

    • The new customer bit more relates to "one can't top up existing SIM" with this.

  • +1

Having a similiar issue to others - tried a different name, number, address, payment card, browser, device. No matter what, the order doesn't go through. Any advice?

    • Email?

      • +1

Yep email too, tried to vary everything

        • IP address. Use the Internet via Mobile.

          • +1

@Neoika: That worked! Thanks a lot mate. I had tried cashrewards app and desktop PC (personal laptop and work laptop). But not Chrome on my phone.

    • It seems a bit flaky. Sometimes a different device might work for me or try again in a few hours even with the same details.

  • Purchased this 10 days ago, still not received the Sim card, anyone knows why? It says it will send me an email with tracking number once shipped. It's been 10 days now, not getting any email. Btw, I'm in Sydney Metro area and it's my first time purchasing from body

    • As you haven't received a shipping notification I would contact Boost CS.

      • You normally don't receive shipping notifications

        • I've gotten them.

          • @wavesgreen: They normally just tells you it's been dispatched but never actually provides you with the tracking number.

            • @Love a bargain: I've gotten tracking numbers with mine. I click the link and automatically add it to my AusPost app.

Anyone know of any deals with the 12-month Boost SIMs ?

I need to recharge 2x 12-month plans soon.

    • +1

Check out this deal (& method) from Lucky Mobile/Officeworks here

      • Thank you for this.
It's what I was looking for.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Last time bought 2. Now bought 3. Will buy 4 next time if all goes well!

    • Is the cashback per sim?

      • yup. and one sim per order.

  • Does anyone know how many numbers can be activated under one Boost account?

    • +1

No idea but i have a lot

    • +3

I have alot probably 20-30 maybe more but the last activation they did tell me I had too many, so I created a new account lol

      • are they all under one boost id? sometimes some of the prepaid services i activated don’t appear under my boost id and so i can’t monitor how much data i still have. i’m still trying to figure out how to make them automatically appear on my boost id so that i can see all my services in the boost mobile app

        • You need to log in your Boost ID before you do the activation so later on when you sign in, the number will show up on your Boost application.

          • @Phong7: I'm confused by the whole process and not sure where I stand with regards to active services.

I can no longer do activations automatically online, I either need to call or do it via Live Chat.

I don't know if these services are then being added to my Boost ID. I don't add then myself, I don't use the app. I have no need to check data, and after 28 days I let the service die.

Oh well, time to add another one to the bank!

          • @Phong7: That’s what I do but the recent prepaid services I activated still don’t show.

      • How do you manage to create new account? Don't they expect another ID or something?

    • +2

10 is what their CS agents have noted (under the one account and active). Whether they stick to their quota is another story?

We are laughing all the way to the bank.

    • Better hurry — most people are laughing all the way from their bank!

  • need deals on 365 day sims! looking gto buy 2 for my family

  • Anyone has problems activating Boost sims this afternoon? I tried a few times with different browsers, still got the "something has gone wrong, please try again later" error message (at the choose plan page)

  • How long does it take for the order to be tracked? It's on 24hrs now and no tracking.

    • Within a few minutes. Your purchase must have lost tracking.

    • literallywithin a second for me

  • Just ordered 3 minutes past as the rate was still showing $14.25 (refreshed CR rate page multiple times) and the sim is on sale for $9 until 28th March.

So maybe this deal is still going?

  • so whats the new exp date?

    • Don't expect it for the weekend. Probably on Tuesday.

    • It expired overnight although CB rate is still decent @ currently shows as $11.50 on $30 deal.

  • Cash back still has not tracked, unlike the other times that got pretty much instant confirmations from Cash Rewards.
Note: Purchased the sim successfully on 22/03/23 @6:35PM.

Ordered sim on Wednesday Mar 22, delivered on Monday Mar 27.

Unable to activate sim, keep showing the following error message:

"something has gone wrong, please try again later"

    • Same. I signed in too.

    • I had the same error. Had to call Boost, and they activated the sim.

    • same here ordered same day with shopback offer
was hoping they'd have fixed it by now

    • anyone who hasn't bothered to call boost to active sim
online activation works fine for me now

Longest activation time yet. Started the activation Saturday evening and just now (Wednesday) it's been activated.
