    Microsoft Office 365 for Beginners

Will Office 365 still work on Feb 29th in a leap year?

It's actually a common misconception that the "365" in Office 365 stand for the number of days in a year, in fact it's actually the number of the satanic cult that Microsoft worship: Abraxas.

    • No, you'd need to purchase Office 3 6 4 fools to have that ability.

I wish more people used paragraph styles and other things like page breaks in MS Word properly.

Editing someone’s 100-page document with multiple manual line breaks done with the Enter key is annoying. Even worse when you get asked to change the formatting of the document when someone hasn’t used paragraph styles is even worse.

    • I would use them more (I do a lot of heavy document work) but Microsoft seems determined to make it as fiddly and annoying as possible.

What's that? You used shift-tab to reduce indenting? Please enjoy having all of your font settings randomly changed! Oh, you want to paste some text from somewhere without totally annihilating footnotes? What if I randomly remove your paragraph spacing settings from this part of the document forwards! Etc etc

  • Do we really need to learn these since their Copilot can do all the tricks?

    • Computer says: … Know! .. er! .. No!
